If you want to digitise vinyl records on your computer and still play them through a sound system when needed, the DJ-Tech Vinyl USB-5 MK2 lets you do both. The orange belt-driven turntable with a high-gloss finish has a USB output for digitisation and an RCA output for analogue playback. Its die-cast aluminium platter is part of this manually operated model’s features.

To record, connect the turntable to a PC or Mac via USB. The included Audacity software is used to record and edit audio signals; it can also be used to edit clicks and other unwanted noise. The product description lists Windows XP and Mac OS 9.1 as supported systems. The USB connection also lets you use the turntable for playback via the separate RCA output, so you can listen to records through a sound system without recording them on a computer.
