Product description Denon DN-350UI
In a permanent installation, a source player often needs to cover several sources without taking up space for additional individual devices. The Denon DN-350UI combines internet radio, FM reception and media playback in a 1U enclosure. Via Ethernet or Wi-Fi, you can access internet radio stations and podcasts; Spotify Connect and Bluetooth expand the selection.
The device plays music files from USB media in MP3, WAV and WMA formats. It supports FAT16- and FAT32-formatted storage devices up to 128 GB. For FM reception in Europe, 87.5 to 108 MHz and 30 station presets are available. Bluetooth 4.0 supports the A2DP and AVRCP profiles; the specified range is up to 30.5 m and can be affected by obstacles and the surrounding environment.
For integration into a system, the DN-350UI has balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA stereo outputs, as well as digital connections. This lets you connect the player via analogue inputs or through the coaxial or optical digital output, depending on the inputs available. Front-panel operation is via the display and rotary control; a remote control is also included. A separate USB port is intended exclusively for firmware updates.
With 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, Ethernet, an FM tuner and multiple audio outputs, the 1U player is suited to permanent installations and rack setups where different music sources need to be centrally available. The key considerations are the network connection you require, the inputs and outputs needed, and the supported USB file formats.
