Product description Behringer HPX-4000

When previewing and cueing, it is useful to quickly swivel one earcup away from the listening position. The closed-back DJ headphones with swivelling and reversible earcups can be worn on one ear for this purpose and are suitable for DJ and home use.

Inside, 40 mm cobalt capsules do the work. Behringer describes the sound as having emphasised bass and transparent highs; the stated frequency response ranges from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. The high-efficiency cobalt capsules are designed for a dynamic range that reproduces both quiet and loud signal components.

The single-sided coiled cable keeps the area around the headphones clear and stretches from 1 m to up to 2.5 m. It is made from oxygen-free copper strands. Connection is via a 3.5 mm stereo jack; a 6.3 mm adapter is included, so you can also connect the headphones to standard mixers and audio connections with a large jack.

A robust headband construction complements the swivelling earcups and coiled cable. This makes the HPX-4000 suitable for DJ setups where single-ear monitoring and an adjustable-length cable are required, as well as for listening to music at home. Closed-back design and standard jack connections are the main criteria when choosing this model.
