When cueing on a DJ mixer, closed-back headphones help you monitor the cue signal even in a noisy environment. The Allen & Heath Xone XD 40 is a dynamic DJ headphone with a closed-back design and 40 mm drivers with neodymium magnets.

For single-ear monitoring, one ear cup can swivel up to 90 degrees. You can fold the headphones for storage; the padded, adjustable headband adapts to your fit. The coiled cable is 1.2 m long and can extend to up to 3 m.

With a frequency range of 15 Hz to 28 kHz, a sensitivity of 103 dB/W at 1 kHz and an input power of up to 1,300 mW, this model is designed for DJ monitoring. The closed-back construction blocks out ambient noise and keeps sound leakage low. The impedance is 48 ohms.
