From the same family as the Alesis Air FX, the Air Synth is a multi-purpose
piece of kit, capable of performing live, studio and DJ duties,
while being operated by just the presence of your hand! Utilising the Alesis-patented Axyz technology, the controller works by spouting an invisible infra-red beam from the
unit’s dome, within which there are sensors that read the beam’s reflection. By moving your hand above the dome you affect that reflection, sending it to different sensors, and so altering the sound
