Yamaha's MODX series has packed their creative and technological prowess into a high performance synthesizer designed for modern demands. The MODX+ builds on this forward-thinking model to offer even more sonic possibilities and increase the total polyphony to an astonishing 256 voices.

In addition, the MODX OS offers new features such as Voices and Live Sets, allowing great flexibility in composition and performance. The built-in flash memory has been increased to 1.75 GB, providing more space for sounds and samples from your own collection to expand your personal expression potential.

Like its predecessor, the MODX+ is packed with powerful technologies taken from Yamaha's flagship Montage series. State-of-the-art upgrades to the MOXF line include the AWM2 sample and synthesis engine, which features eight times more waveforms, a powerful eight-operator FM-X engine that has been modernized for amazingly dynamic sound and complex sound design, and Motion Control Synthesis for seamless integration and powerful control of both sound engines.

In addition to the sound engines, the Yamaha MODX6+ is packed with sophisticated features such as Super Knob, which allows simultaneous control of multiple parameters; the ability to send and receive 10 channels of audio and 16 channels of MIDI via USB to a computer or iOS device; Live Sets, which allow you to organize performances without copying, renaming, or changing the order; and an A/D input that processes external audio sources through the internal DSP.

Yamaha's MODX6+ has a wide range of effects, both for the internal sounds and for the A/D inputs. This provides the same effects found in Yamaha's professional digital recording consoles. In addition, the Yamaha MODX6+ supports the simultaneous use of 27 effects, so you can add the necessary professionalism to your tracks.
