Akai LPD8 MK2

With the new Akai LPD8 MK2, beatmakers and producers get an ultra-compact pad controller with eight MPC pads and eight encoders. Perfectly suited for mobile use or home studios with limited space.

The heart of the unit are the 8 full-size backlit MPC pads - identical in construction to those of the MPC X. Playability and quality here are top-notch, and it's not for nothing that the pads from the MPCs have been popular with producers worldwide for decades.

In addition, 8 encoders are included, allowing you to control parameters or settings of your VSTi as preferred. Also included is an editor software that allows you to customize the controller to your prefered settings.

Furthermore, a large software package with samples, plugins and MPC beats is included as a download, so you can get started right away. Even if the controller makes a thin and light impression: It is very robustly built and absolutely suitable for mobile use.
