The Nektar SE49 offers the optimal entry into the world of producing thanks to its fantastic Nektar DAW integration and clearly structured layout. The four-octave velocity-sensitive synth action keyboard allows for expressive playing and can also be adjusted in its velocity curve using three pre-installed and four user presets. The performance features are rounded off by the easy-to-grip pitch bend & mod wheel as well as a connection for sustain pedals.
With the help of the Octave & Transpose buttons, the played octave can be changed by -3/+4 octaves and the pitch can be adjusted by -12/+12 semitone steps. In addition, clever shift assignments and Nektar's deep DAW integration (for all popular DAWs including Bitwig, Cubase, Garageband, Logic, Nuendo, Digital Performer, Mixcraft, Reason, Reaper, Sonar and Studio One) allow various functions of the software used to be controlled via four buttons and a 30 mm fader (including track/patch selection and level).
