Yamaha DXL1K

Despite its lightweight and compact enclosure design, the DXL1K features a powerful 1100W amplifier driving a high-frequency array speaker system with 10 x 1.5-inch drivers and a large 12-inch subwoofer, producing a peak sound pressure level of up to 125 dB SPL.

With an impressive 170° horizontal dispersion angle and 30° vertical dispersion angle, the DXL1K delivers clear, high-quality sound over a wide area.

Using Yamaha's proprietary Twisted Flare Port™ technology to reduce wind noise that can occur with compact bass-reflex subwoofers, low-frequency performance is maximized and very deep, powerful, distortion-free bass is produced.

The subwoofer features a 12-inch speaker unit packed into one of the smallest enclosures on the market.

The subwoofer's lightweight ABS enclosure is coated with a high-quality polyurea coating to prevent wear and tear during transport. It's lightweight enough to make the system extremely portable, but rugged and scratch-resistant enough to withstand harsh performance environments.
