Pro-Ject Tube Box S2

Tube Box S2 is the first Pro-Ject product which enjoys a fully discrete design and does not require any operational amplifier (OpAmp). It's also the first product that allows you to change the tubes and shape the sound according to your preferences with other tubes.

Tube Box S2 has a very relaxing sound with full mids that you can only find in much more expensive tube preamps. MM systems can be connected in the same way as MC pickups, a variety of amplification levels can be selected from the front.

Five variable input impedances are available to adapt to any system, the 47kOhm setting is fixed and also suitable for High Output MC pickups. The aluminium/metal housing is optically matched to that of the DS2 series and effectively protects against vibration and electromagnetic interference to ensure interference-free sound!

A real high-end solution in a much smaller format!
