Numark + NuVJ

The Numark NuVJ Controller is a useful, professional device that enables DJs to incorporate images and video clips in much the same way as mixing music. With this unit, the Software VJ can trigger images and video clips, mix them through an onboard DJ style crossfader, add effects to them and tweak them in order to create spectacular and unique shows. The software is compatible with most computers and laptops and the hardware controller works seamlessly with existing DJ gear.

The Controller Interface is ideally suited for the accompanying Arkaos custom software and is designed to work intuitively in the same way that DJs mix music. A library of video clips and over 30 real-time video effects are included in the software package. The Numark NuVJ Controller is more versatile, simply easier and more affordable than any other VJ product on the market.

A new Flash player has been added with audio-reactive Flash animation support and input gain control, which is useful for generators, audio-reactive flash and BPM detection. Input gain controls make beat synchronization easier than ever.

Arkaos v1.50 software for Numark NuVJ Users adds a new, multi-threaded engine along with a new internal codec for optimal decompression of several video formats including QuickTime Photo-JPEG, DV, MPEG. With a new update users can now deinterlace video clips with a right click option. Thanks to new loop editing functionality, you can edit the loop length of their clips and movies on the fly.

The upgrade also provides advanced chrominance/luminance keying controls, 11 new effects and a new visuals panel that displays the movie player involved the codec, the resolution. Mac users can also achieve improved DV camera quality, high-resolution input support and the ability to play multiple DV cameras at the same time.
