StreamingDirectPlay: Direct Access to Beatport for the XDJ-AZ

The StreamingDirectPlay feature allows you to play tracks directly from the extensive dance music library of Beatport and the latest genre-specific playlists. You receive valuable analysis data such as waveform, BPM, and grid information to help you seamlessly integrate new and varied music into your sets.

To use StreamingDirectPlay on the XDJ-AZ, a subscription to the Beatport Streaming Professional or Advanced plan is required.

10.1-inch Touchscreen for Intuitive Control on the XDJ-AZ

The capacitive 10.1-inch touchscreen of the XDJ-AZ not only provides more comprehensive visual information but also significantly simplifies device control. You can display up to 13 tracks simultaneously, which is a substantial improvement over the 8 tracks of the XDJ-XZ. This allows you to see more of your music and find songs faster.

Additional innovative features include the playlist bank, where up to four playlists can be saved for quick access. With the touch preview function, you can preview tracks in the playlists without loading them. Touch cue lets you listen to the next section of the currently playing tracks in the deck. These features help streamline and smooth the track selection process. Furthermore, you can simultaneously view the status of the performance pads and beat FX settings, ensuring that all essential information for your performance is readily available.

Wireless Monitoring with SonicLink for DJ Headphones

With the integrated SonicLink transmitter of the XDJ-AZ, you can achieve wireless monitoring with extremely low latency when using the professional DJ headphones HDJ-F10. A simple press of a button connects the XDJ-AZ to the headphones.

This allows you to move freely in the DJ booth or on stage without being hindered by cables. SonicLink is a wireless technology developed by AlphaTheta that transmits audio 20 times faster than the standard Bluetooth® SBC codec, ensuring you experience no delays when pressing buttons or scratching with the jog wheels.

Please note that the XDJ-AZ does not support wireless connection with the portable DJ speaker WAVE-EIGHT.

Versatile Compatibility with Devices and DJ Applications

The XDJ-AZ allows not only the playback of tracks from USB drives but also connection to your PC/Mac or mobile device for DJing. If you want to further enhance your creative touch, you can also integrate audio from external devices such as turntables and samplers.

The USB-C port for PC/Mac enables the use of rekordbox in performance mode or Serato DJ Pro without the need for a paid subscription. Additionally, you can easily access tracks from your PC/Mac or mobile device through the Wi-Fi® connection with rekordbox Link Export, without the need for wired connections.
