Akai Force offers a comprehensive DAW-like experience, complete with deep sampling and sequencing features from the MPC series - all standalone. No computer required.

Record your own samples and loops directly through the audio inputs, or import them via USB or SD card. You can even expand the Force's memory with your own SATA drive.

Inside the Akai Force are four synthesizer engines developed by AIR Music Technology.Real-time time-stretch algorithms and automatic bpm detection make syncing samples and loops fast and easy.

If you're already producing with Ableton Live, the Akai Professional Force is the perfect addition to your workflow. Everything you do with the Force in standalone mode can be saved as an Ableton Live Set and exported to Live for further production. The Force is also compatible with Ableton Link. You can connect the Akai Foce to your wireless network and sync your project to any Ableton Link-compatible software or hardware, including Akai Professional's MPC series. In addition, Force is also a great controller for the drums, instruments, and clips in Ableton Live itself.

You can even import multiple stems and sync them to the same BPM for instant mashups. With its easy-to-play 8x8 pad matrix, vibrant 7" multi-touch display, and built-in synth engines, Akai Professional Force is a powerful tool whether you're producing in the studio or performing on stage.
