Akai EWI Solo

The EWI Solo is the latest addition to Akai Professional's EWI Series, a line of dynamic performance wind instruments that comes with a built-in speaker that lets you perform anywhere.

The EWI Solo features a carefully crafted library of 200 premium onboard sounds, ranging from fat, evolving synth pads to an amazingly lifelike jazz clarinet.

The EWI Solo is a standalone instrument, but also features USB MIDI for controlling your favorite VST instruments or MIDI hardware.

The integrated battery provides a total playing time of about 12 hours and can be easily recharged via USB. The built-in speaker has been tuned for a natural sounding reproduction of the integrated sounds.

For precise control of volume and pitch dynamics, the EWI Solo features an extremely responsive mouthpiece with air pressure level and bite sensor. With studio-quality reverb, delay and chorus effects, you can further customize the sound to suit your needs.
