Roland's VAD hybrid drum sets combine natural feel and electronic versatility!

Real wood shells with tunable mesh heads capture the lively feedback of an acoustic drum, with a customizable response that can be easily tailored to personal playing preferences.

The flexible multi-zone V-Cymbal arrangement has been thinned out from previous generations to offer even greater expressive potential. What really takes the VAD504 to the next generation, however, is the updated TD-27 sound module, now equipped with 75 kits and a whole library of sound shaping tools.

In addition to the extensive collection of preset drum kits, the TD-27 offers the ability to import your own WAV sounds via an SD card to create your own instrument or integrate a specific sample into a preset kit.

Just like Roland's top-of-the-line TD-50 sound module, the TD-27 is based on Roland's innovative Prismatic Sound Modeling. This system's exceptionally in-depth editing capabilities allow users to shape and tweak nearly every facet of their kit - from the sound and tuning of the shell to the size and articulation of the cymbals.

In addition, Prismatic Sound Modeling offers the ability to place virtual microphones to create liveliness and room ambience. A library of new effects is available, including reverb, compression and more, to effortlessly achieve studio-quality sound!

The TD-27 outputs a whopping 28 channels of multitrack audio to a DAW via a single USB cable for near-silent recording of studio-quality drum tracks. In addition, the TD-27 can be used as a USB MIDI interface, allowing you to record or trigger your parts with virtual instruments in your DAW.

The TD-27's built-in Bluetooth transceiver enhances your practice and recording sessions. Music can be streamed directly from a device to the module, so you can practice with your favorite grooves and fills.
