The Rodec MX 180 MKIII, the optimized upgrade version of the MX180 MKII. It has new features, better high quality components and a new look. It's design answers to the expectations of a new generation of DJ's.

Features
Very robust 19 inch - 7HE - 25° slanted mixing panel. Frontplate with dark grey satin finish and fosfo printing that lightens up in the dark. Large input possibilities: 17 inputs. 4 Input channels Switchable Phono, CD/DAT, MD/AUX, or Microphone. 1 Dedicated Microphone channel with talk-over control and the possibility to insert an external effect apparatus or equalizer. Specially designed high quality input stages to reduce disturbances from the outside. Gain control, triple equalizer tone control, Balance/Panorama and PFL on all channels. Short 60mm new easy-slide ALPS channel faders for fast mixing. Soft touch fader- and rotative knobs for a better grip. Crossfader for easy fading between channels 1-2 and 3-4. Four LED VU-meters. Range from -40dB to +3dB. The first two monitor the PFL or split signal and the last two monitor the output signals, selecteable with a rotative selection switch. A very powerful headphones output with volume control. A second headphones-connector on the backpanel. Mono/stereo switch. Two fader controlled master outputs + one monitor output (DJ-microphone free). Four record-outputs also useable as aux-output. Possibility to record without DJ-mic. Standard electronical symmetrical outputs to become better signal transmissions. High headroom reserve (upto +24dBm). Subsonic-filter. 36V voltage-supply for high dynamics on all in- and outputs. Der Klassiker unter den Übermixern!
Für einen Rodec Mixer gibt es viele gute Gründe. Der beste unter ihnen ist die absolut tadellose Qualität. Die macht sich besonders in der Robustheit und im exzellenten Sound bemerkbar. Die Optik hat für manchen Betrachter den Charme eines Panzers, aber dafür ist dieses Pult auch mindestens genauso stabil! Dieses Mischpult wird in unserem Club seit mehreren Jahren ge- und mißbraucht, dabei arbeitet es immer noch so tadellos wie am ersten Tag. Die Haptik ist ein einziger Genuß, die Kippschalter (PFL) zum Vorhören sind Kult und die Fader laufen annähernd widerstandslos. Der Aufbau ist sehr aufgeräumt, und auch für DJ Neulinge schnell zu verstehen. Hat man sich erst einmal mit diesem Mixer angefreundet, dann mixt es sich wie von Geisterhand mit diesem Sahnestück. Doch Vorsicht ist geboten. Nach wenigen Kontakten mit diesem Traumgerät erträgt man nur noch schlecht den Umgang mit anderen, viel gesehenen "Traummixern", die vollgepackt sind mit Schnick-Schnack Gadgets und hinten einen Sound rauswürgen, der einem die Eingeweide umdreht. Manchmal sind es die einfachen Dinge die glücklich machen, und der Rodec MX 180 MK III gehört definitiv dazu!
