Rode M5-MP

The M5 condenser microphone is only available as a matched stereo pair. At 10 cm, it is one of the shortest small-diaphragm microphones on the market and can be placed inconspicuously if required - also thanks to the matte black ceramic coating.

The M5 is excellent for stringed instruments of all kinds, woodwinds, percussion and as a drum overhead, for example. Like any good small-diaphragm microphone, it reproduces transients, i.e. the transient response of a sound, precisely and realistically.

The M5 enables even users with a limited budget to deliver studio-quality recordings. The M5-MP is also ideal for A/B or X/Y stereo miking, thanks to the highly automated, hi-tech manufacturing process at RØDE's Sydney factory, followed by meticulous selection.

The metal housing of the M5 is nickel-plated to resist corrosion, then enamel powder is applied extremely evenly using an electrostatic process, followed by firing. The result: a very high quality, scratch-resistant finish that will look mannerly even after years of use.

The M5s are manufactured at RØDE in Australia. Registered users receive a 10-year warranty at Rode.
