The USB powered AKAI Professional MPC Studio Controller is a production powerhouse designed to move around with ease. The comfortable construction of this Controller merges the processing power of your laptop with the power of the MPC anywhere you wish to take it. Due to its ultra-compact design which is less than 1” thick, this unit is capable to neatly fit in most cases and bags with room to spare.

There are 16 backlit genuine MPC style pads that allow you the same legendary MPC workflow. The overall design is sleek with an all-aluminum body to protect the core components of the unit and low-profile knobs. The large LCD screen gives you the possibility to make tracks without the need to look at the computer screen. This frees you from constantly relying solely on your computer to produce music.

The exclusive MPC software by AKAI which is included in delivery makes the transition from the original box to your computer a breeze. 128-Track sequencing ability will offer you plenty of features when cruising through the massive 6GB+ sound library. There’s the ability to record each track as an MPC drum program, Keygroup program or VST/AU program and also instant mapping and real-time adjustment of VST plugins. The MPC Studio software supports WAV, MP3, AIFF, REX and SND audio file types, as well as any sequences and samples from any MPC ever made. The software is both Mac and PC compatible. Use the software as a standalone DAW or inside of your favorite workstation as a VST or AU plugin.
