Polyend Play

Polyend designed the Play Groovebox to be a top-notch companion for controlling your setup. It combines ergonomic management modes with a wealth of features and MIDI support that easily integrate with the rest of your instruments on stage or in the studio.

Intuitive controls let you quickly rearrange data such as tracks, steps, pages, variations, and patterns, as well as chain custom patterns. There are 30,000 possible track variations available across 128 patterns, each containing 16 tracks, and each individual track can contain 16 variations.

One of the Play's most clever design decisions is that it can seamlessly switch between use as a studio instrument and as a performance instrument. A dedicated performance mode allows you to lock down your production and make non-destructive changes to your sounds and sequences, including tune, filter, overdrive, rearranger, reverb and delay effects. Mastering effects include reverb, delay, sound enhancement, limiter, and saturation.

The fun doesn't stop with audio, however, as there are numerous MIDI options, including live recording of automations and changing individual step values on the fly, scale filtering, and more. Play comes with over 3,000 samples and 35 sample kits, providing plenty of room for experimentation with the FX suite.

MIDI inputs and outputs are accessed via 3.5mm phone jacks, and the Polyend Play comes with a MIDI DIN adapter. The MicroSD slot is perfect for expanding the sample library or providing additional sounds. A 16 GB card is already included.
