Omnitronic CMX-2000

The CMX-2000 is a 2-channel standalone mixer with extensive MIDI sections for controlling DJ software on PC and Mac. Its interface is perfectly adapted for intuitive operation of up to 4 decks in Virtual DJ, Traktor and Serato Scratch live, with full support of scratch and sample decks. A separate controller is no longer required. All functions for file selection, transport, hotcues, samples, sample recorders, loops, effects, pitch and video control are available. Both input channels are equipped with 3-band EQs and filter effect and can be flexibly assigned to analog sources and MIDI decks.

The integrated USB sound card (4 IN/4 OUT) offers powerful stereo outputs for a PA and monitor system (including balanced XLR connectors) and sufficient stereo inputs for connecting CD players, turntables and other external devices. A microphone channel with 1-band EQ and talkover function is available for presenters and MCs. Portable devices such as MP3 players, smartphones and tablets can be integrated with 2 Aux inputs.

Scratch DJs will appreciate the reverse switches and curve knobs that allow them to customize both the crossfader and channel faders to their style.

The integrated DVS audio system allows direct use of time code systems with vinyl or CD under Virtual DJ and other open programs with a single USB cable. Users of Traktor and Serato can connect their own sound cards.
