The Akai MPD232 brings the feel of a classic MPC right into your studio.
This USB midi pad controller is ideal for producers, musicians or DJs who like to work with samples, one-shots or chords. At the heart of the controller are 16 velocity-sensitive MPC Thick Pads, which provide the incomparable feel - Popular with producers worldwide.
The controller comes with mapping presets for all popular and current DAWs, so you can get started right away. If you'd like to make your own settings, that's no problem either. With the MPC Editor software, every midi parameter can be adjusted as you like.
Besides the classic pads, the MPD232 has a lot more to offer: 8 faders for quick volume adjustments, 8 assignable rotary knobs and 8 buttons as well as extensive transport control make the controller the control center for your DAW.
The 32-step sequencer also ensures fast programmed beats as well as a comprehensive software package for download to get started right away.
