Rode SmartLav+

Reliable clip-on microphone with miniature ball capsule, which was specially developed for voice transmission. The Kevlar-reinforced connection cable is 1.20 m long and has a four-pin TRRS jack plug, which is used to connect the "smartLav+" to the 3.5 mm jack of a smartphone. For optimal recording results, the smartLav+ belongs on the lapel, collar or at chest level on clothing with its alligator clip.

You can also use the smartLav+ with a DSLR camera. To do this, you need the optional "SC3" adapter, which adapts from the four-pin TRRS connector of the smartLav+ to the three-pin TRS microphone input of the camera. The prerequisite is that the camera supplies the required plug-in power (approx. 3 volts), which is the case with the vast majority of models.

The RØDE smartLav+ is manufactured by RØDE in Australia and comes with a foam windscreen, alligator clip, Velcro cable tie and a small carrying pouch.
