M-BX8 Carbon

The BX Carbon series by M-Audio comes with an elegant new design inside and out. The proven technology of M-Audio’s high-end monitors associated with an extended frequency response provides a very natural listening experience. Custom Class A/B analog amplifiers deliver superior dynamics and tonal accuracy across the frequency spectrum—while the latest-generation woven Kevlar low-frequency drivers and waveguide-loaded silk dome tweeters provide rich, defined sound. Because of that, BX studio monitors are trusted by a lot of musicians and recording professionals.

Including three models - BX8 Carbon, BX6 Carbon and BX5 Carbon, this series offers flatter response for truer and more accurate monitoring. The tweeter’s waveguide has also been enhanced for superior imaging and has been tailored to the new, superior frequency response curve. That translates into a wider mix position—both the frequencies and the stereo information are translated reliably.

The BX8 Carbon has a 8” low-frequency driver and 130 watts of distributed power. A 1” high-frequency driver with natural silk dome and integrated waveguide delivers smooth, clear highs. In addition to the updated amplifier and waveguide, each BX Carbon monitor also features a dedicated Acoustic Space control, which offers easy low-end tailoring to different setups and environments.
