Boss SY-1000

The BOSS SY-1000 synthesizer pedal for guitar and bass represents the culmination of BOSS and Roland guitar synthesizer technology, refined over decades of player feedback. Three different synthesizer instrument engines can be played simultaneously to create exceptionally deep and rich sonic textures.

As with any other effects pedal, you can connect your guitar or bass directly via a 6.3mm cable, or use Roland's GK pickup (available as an option) for the most precise pitch measurement and adjustment of individual string parameters. Combined with the built-in effects loop, multi-effects functions, instrument modeling, external control inputs and freely assignable footswitches, the BOSS SY-1000 is the most advanced synthesizer pedal ever designed.

The Dynamic Synth engine features two 16-step sequencers that let you add whole new dimensions of dynamics to your synth patches. Each step of each sequencer can control pitch, filter and amplitude independently, with 13 different envelopes available. The results can sound extreme, of course, but can also be subtly dosed for extremely lively patches.

With its updated sound engine powered by a dedicated DSP and offering 32-bit/48-kHz conversion, the BOSS SY-1000 is the best-sounding BOSS guitar synthesizer yet.
