Arturia MicroFreak Vocoder Edition

This special edition of the Arturia MicroFreak offers the same sonic arsenal as the original MicroFreak, including wavetable and digital oscillators, analog filters, a modulation matrix and an expressive touch plate, and it adds a 16-band vocoder mode to the sonic chaos.

At the heart of the MicroFreak's adventurous sound are its digital and wavetable oscillators. With a number of unique modes such as Texture, KarplusStrong, Harmonic OSC, Superwave and the sound engines of Eurorack pioneer Mutable Instruments' Plaits module, MicroFreak opens up possibilities far beyond the average subtractive synthesizer.

The genious touch plate was taken over from the "old" Microfreak. Keyboarders in particular have found this keyboard by and large more natural and expressive than a conventional keyboard. The touch plate is pressure sensitive and even offers polyphonic aftertouch - pretty amazing in this price segment.
