The Zomo MK2 Faceplate is a custom-fit cover for Technics turntables of the MK2 series, allowing you to quickly give your setup a new look. The attachment is simply placed over the housing without altering the technology, preserving the familiar character of the original. This allows you to upgrade the look of your turntable without sacrificing the handling you are used to.

The model was developed for use on Technics SL-1200 MK2 and SL-1210 MK2. Thanks to the precisely tailored shape and the matching cut-outs, the controls and functions remain freely accessible. The cover fits neatly into the contours of the turntable and ensures a cohesive, integrated look.

Zomo faceplate technics 1200mk2

First of all a big thumbs up for this company! The communication through email, notification and sending of the package went flawless and was received after two days from Germany to Belgium. Thank you. I ordered these faceplates to build them into a microcement table and for this purpose they are not entirely suited because of a fourth side bar that misses at the back of the faceplate ( where the hinges are for the decksaver ). It can be done but this needs special reinforcement at the rear. The Zomo faceplate itself feels robust and is covered ( I ordered 1 pair of black coloured faceplates ) with a beautiful painted finish and lettering that matches the original of the Technics SL 1200MK2. The hole of the reducer is not present so that can be an issue for those who use this. Overall the Zomo faceplate is a great solution for covering those Technics precious turntables ( mine are bought in October 1991 and they work flawless after 32 years ! They fit as a glove over the turntable and the lines follow perfectly those of the turntable. The faceplate is very thin so there is no height discomfort regarding use of the pitch control and knobs. I hope this review is useful.

I tried to clean up my four Technics SL 1200 MKII. I gave up because these face plates are so much better. (2 of mine 1200 mk2 have been in night club fire and hard to clean up smoke damages). Face plate totally fits and is easy to install. I will order again, if you get more colour options.
