Product description Yamaha MG10XU

Compact, clearly laid out and pleasantly direct in everyday use: This analogue mixing console is designed for anyone who wants to combine several signals cleanly, record them reliably and integrate them into a digital workflow without detours. Four microphone inputs, multiple stereo channels, built-in effects and a USB audio interface make the model a well thought-out control centre for small studios, streaming setups, rehearsal rooms and mobile applications. In addition, it has a robust metal construction and a control surface that stays easy to understand even when things need to happen quickly.

Yamaha MG10XU - Preamps

Clean sound right from the start

At its heart are the discrete D-PRE microphone preamps, which pass on signals naturally, open and with good detail reproduction. Especially for speech, vocals or acoustic instruments, the result is controlled and direct, without becoming unnecessarily complicated. With the mono channels, high-pass filters and PAD switches are also available, helping You keep levels and interfering components under control already at the source.

Yamaha MG10XU - Compressor

Less tweaking, faster to the goal

Especially practical when dealing with dynamic signals is the simple operation. The 1-knob compressors on the mono channels make it easier for You to bring vocals more forward and to integrate instruments more evenly into the mix, without having to work through a long list of parameters. In addition, there are 3-band EQs on the mono channels, letting You quickly adapt treble, mids and bass to the respective source. This keeps operation direct, even when You are managing multiple inputs in parallel.

Yamaha MG10XU - Effects

Effects with direct practical value

A clear plus point is the built-in 24 SPX effect programmes. This gives vocals, instruments or complete signals more space and depth, without having to plan additional outboard. Reverb, echo and other effect variants are quick to access and fit well for applications that call for a compact setup. This is particularly useful if You work live, produce content or want to keep a small setup flexible.

Yamaha MG10XU - USB Interface

Work analogue, record digitally

Using the built-in USB audio function with 24 Bit / 192 kHz, the mixer can be integrated into computer and mobile setups with ease. As a result, it is suitable not only for mixing, but also for recording, streaming or content production. Compatibility with iPad and the included Cubase AI download version underline that Yamaha has thought not only about classic live applications, but also about modern, space-saving production environments.

Yamaha MG10XU - Side Lifestyle

Built for regular use

The device remains interesting exactly where technology has to be transported, set up and used frequently. The metal chassis provides stability, while balanced XLR main outputs, a separate headphone output and clearly arranged connections make day-to-day use easier. With the compact format, the Yamaha mixer fits well on small work tables, in mobile rigs or in setups where space is limited but no compromises are wanted in terms of connection variety and ease of use.

Yamaha MG10XU - Front Lifestyle

Does the Yamaha MG10XU suit Your setup?

The Yamaha MG10XU is the right choice precisely when You are looking for a manageable but versatile mixer that can be operated without detours and at the same time keeps modern recording paths open. It is particularly well suited for musicians, speakers, small bands, podcasters, streamers and users in a home studio who want to manage multiple sources cleanly. This model also makes sense for mobile sound reinforcement or compact production locations, because it combines analogue directness with digital connectivity. Especially entry-level users with high expectations benefit from the clear interface, while experienced users will appreciate the solid equipment, the usable effects and the reliable integration into existing workflows.

  • Well suited for speech, vocals, instruments and small live setups
  • Ideal for recording and streaming without an additional audio interface

Preis/Leistung: Exzellent

Yamaha MG10XUF

Yamahas 10-channel mixing console is designed for setups where compact dimensions and clean signal routing have to go hand in hand. It combines 4 microphone and 10 line inputs with an integrated USB audio interface, internal effects and a clearly structured control surface. This makes the mixer suitable for band rehearsals, small live situations, streaming, recording and flexible use in a home studio. The sound remains natural and neutral, while features such as the 1-knob compressor, D-PRE preamps and PAD switches make everyday work noticeably easier. Clear sound, within easy reach At the centre are the D-PRE microphone preamps with an inverted Darlington circuit. They provide a clean, transparent signal and give vocals, instruments and playback sources a controlled foundation. Especially with acoustic sources or speech, you can see how balanced and unforced this mixer works. The sound doesn’t feel artificially “puffed up”, but stays open and easy to place in the mix.Alongside that, there is a 3-band EQ on all mono channels. This lets you shape signals quickly without having to wade through complex menus. That’s useful when a microphone needs more presence, a keyboard needs to make room in the mix, or a voice has to remain clear and understandable during live operation. More control, with no detours The 1-knob compressor on the mono channels is particularly practical for everyday use. Instead of long setting routines, you adjust dynamics with a single twist. This helps with vocals, bass, guitar or speech signals when you want to capture level peaks and bring the signal more forward in the mix. For small productions and mobile setups, this is a real advantage because you reach a cohesive result faster. The integrated PAD switches on the mono inputs also help with this. Louder sources can be integrated more cleanly without unnecessarily pushing the input signal right up to the limit. Together with the 48V phantom power, the console remains open to different microphone types and various playback equipment. Effects and USB integrated in a sensible way The internal SPX effects with 24 programs give you reverb, delay and other processing directly on the unit. This saves external accessories and keeps the setup tidy. This is particularly convenient for small stages, speeches, rehearsal-room recordings or content production, as you can work without additional devices.Via the USB 2.0 interface, you can also use the model as a 24-bit/192-kHz audio interface with 2 inputs and 2 outputs. This makes it possible to handle recording and playback directly with a computer or compatible tablets. In combination with MG Rec & Play and support for Cubase AI and Cubasis LE, the compact mixer quickly becomes a practical hub for recording, rehearsal and playback. Built for regular use The metal housing suits users who don’t just keep their equipment permanently set up in the studio. The mixer remains portable, feels robust and is designed for frequent set-up and pack-down. Symmetrical XLR outputs and the straightforward arrangement of the controls make practical use even more convenient. compact build with faders for direct access well suited for small bands, speech, streaming and recording iPad-compatible via Camera Connection Kit or Lightning to USB camera adapter 2x7-LED meters for quick level checks Who is the Yamaha MG10XUF for? The Yamaha mixer is just right for you if you’re looking for a compact mixing console that brings live mixing, recording and playback together in one device. It fits singer-songwriters, small bands, wedding speakers, content creators, mobile tech setups and home studios that prefer to work directly and without unnecessary complexity. Even if you regularly work with microphones, stereo playback sources and a computer or iPad, this console offers a very well-rounded set of functions. well suited for beginners who care about clean sound just as suitable for experienced users who want a compact working unit ideal for rehearsal rooms, small events, livestreams and mobile recording setups practical if you want effects and a USB interface directly on the mixer Features Yamaha MG10XUF Compact 10-channel mixing console for stage, home studio, rehearsal room and smaller events 4 mic and 10 line inputs in a configuration with 4 mono and 3 stereo channels D-PRE microphone preamps with an inverted Darlington circuit for a natural and transparent sound 1-knob compressors on the mono channels for fast and simple dynamic control 3-band EQ on all mono channels for direct tone shaping without detours SPX effects section with 24 programs for reverb, delay and other practice-oriented processing Class-compatible USB 2.0 interface with 24-bit / 192 kHz and 2 In / 2 Out for recording and playback Compatible with iPad from version 2 via Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit or Lightning to USB camera adapter PAD switches on every mono input for better handling of louder signal sources 48V phantom power, symmetrical XLR outputs and robust metal housing for reliable everyday use Technical data Type 10-channel mixing console Inputs 4 Mic | 10 Line | 4 Mono + 3 Stereo USB audio 2 In / 2 Out | 24-bit | 192 kHz | USB 2.0 Effects SPX | 24 programs EQ High +15 dB to -15 dB @ 10.000 Hz EQ Mid +15 dB to -15 dB @ 2.500 Hz EQ Low +15 dB to -15 dB @ 100 Hz High-pass filter 80 Hz Phantom power +48 V Outputs Symmetrical XLR outputs Level meter 2 x 7 LED THD 0,03 % Frequency response 20 - 48.000 Hz Power supply PA-10 mains adapter Power consumption approx. 23 watts Weight 3.3 kg Dimensions (W x D x H) 275 x 390 x 110 mm In the box Yamaha MG10XUF mixing console AC power cable Cubase AI download information User manual

Yamaha MG12XU

With the Yamaha MG12XU, you get a 12-channel mixing console that combines clean signal routing, thoughtful operation and practical equipment in a compact format. It is suitable for live applications, rehearsal rooms, streaming, small bands, speech sound reinforcement and fixed installations alike. What stands out in particular is the combination of D-PRE microphone preamps, integrated SPX effects, a USB audio interface and a clearly laid-out surface that lets you get started without detours. Clarity you can hear straight away The built-in D-PRE preamps provide a natural basic sound with clean reproduction of vocals, instruments and acoustic details. With microphones in particular, you can hear how controlled and open the console works. Bass stays stable, the highs feel present without becoming sharp, and even with more complex signals the overall sound remains easy to follow. In addition, there are high-quality op-amps that process the signal transparently. That means the Yamaha mixing console is not only suitable for straightforward sound reinforcement tasks, but also for setups where clean pre-amplification and reliable signal quality are at the centre of attention. Direct control during live operation In practical use, what matters most is how quickly you reach the desired result. That is exactly where the 1-knob compressors come into their own. Instead of spending a long time setting parameters, you adjust the dynamics with a single hand movement. This is particularly helpful for vocals, bass or guitar when a signal needs more density, contour or balance.Supporting this are 3-band EQs on the mono channels and high-pass filters for the microphone inputs. This allows you to reduce unwanted low frequencies, place vocals more clearly in the mix, or separate individual sources from each other more effectively. Operation remains clear and suitable for everyday use. Effects and USB sensibly integrated The internal SPX digital effects give you 24 programmes for reverb, delay and other processing that blends well into the mix. This is particularly useful if you want to work without an additional effects unit, but still want to create more spatial depth or added presence. The effects are quick to access and fit well with typical live and project studio applications. Also included is the integrated USB audio interface with 24-bit and up to 192 kHz. This makes it easy to integrate the console into your recording or streaming setup. Recording and playback via computer or compatible mobile solutions are possible without complicated extra hardware. For many applications, this connection between an analogue mixer and audio interface is precisely what makes the decisive difference. Built robustly, easy to connect The console sits in a stable metal housing and is well prepared for frequent use. At the same time, the control surface is logically arranged, so you can work reliably even in hectic situations. LED metering helps you keep an eye on levels cleanly and spot overloads in time. With mono, stereo and aux structures, group outputs, monitor out and headphone output, the model covers many typical applications. Condenser microphones can also be connected without any trouble thanks to +48V phantom power. Pad switches on the mono inputs additionally help to handle high input levels cleanly. Does the Yamaha MG12XU fit your setup? For additional sound shaping, you have a 3-band EQ per channel and switchable high-pass filters to easily remove unwanted low frequencies. The robust metal chassis makes the mixer reliable even in continuous use, whether in the rehearsal room, on stage, or in permanent installations. Thanks to the high-resolution LED level meters, you always have an overview of your signals, while switchable 48V phantom power reliably powers condenser microphones. The variety of inputs and outputs – including AUX sends, group outputs, and monitor outputs – gives you maximum flexibility for different scenarios. The built-in high-quality MG01 operational amplifiers ensure that your mix remains transparent and every nuance of the signal is preserved. The well-thought-out channel structure with pad switches, EQ options, and clear signal routing makes working with it pleasant and efficient.
