Used speaker?

The speakers are perfect, treble and bass very well... Delivery OK... On the other hand, when I received them, I realized that one of the two has already been used (used). We see that the craton has already been opened and the speaker is scratched... I sent an email to recordcase and I'm waiting for their return... To be continued

Price/performance cannot be beat

Basically everything has already been said here. If you are looking for 1A studio monitors at a fair price, you will not go wrong with the Yamaha HS8. High resolution and deep enough (for me) they easily manage to create the goosebump feeling of sensible music. I am enthusiastic about the product and the shop!

The HS8 have replaced KRK8, so far no regrets. Sound is very very good. Recordcase also everything great, fast processing and fast shipping. Both gladly again.

Great product!

Already having the subwoofer + 4 krk 6 g3, for the sake of excellence, I initially bought the KRK 8 G4. The difference between KRK 6 and KRK 8 is great. I plugged krk 8 into sub KRK 10s The sound is great but KRK drools a little in the bass. So I bought The Yamaha HS8 to complete my 5.1 installation. I find it difficult to decide between the KRK8 and the Yamaha HS8. These products of excellence!

Outstanding product and fast, safe shipping

There is not much to discuss at this point with the Yamaha HS8: top tier near-field monitor with impressively good workmanship, made of very high-quality MDF. Professional studio monitoring monitors with balanced XLR (Neutrik) and 1/4" TRS inputs. The sound is very clear, unadulterated and offers an immersive spatial image. The highs are not croaking but sharp and precise. The mids are not obtrusive but present and in symbiosis the two siblings. The low frequencies are more pleasant than any Satisfyer. The air is shot through the bass reflex system with a good deal of pressure. The price-performance ratio is in favor of the audiophile. Of course, a few nice words about the Recordcase: From Ordered Sunday to Monday at 00:10 a.m. and received it on Tuesday at 12:00 a.m. Strong performance, the supplier from GLS did not want to carry the heavy things up with me, since he was already old and I was a strong young man, But that's not the shop's fault.By the way, the price for the pair on the site was cheaper than most of their competitors!My neighbors probably won't be happy h will but it's me. That's all that counts.

Good price / performance ratio

First of all, compliments to Recordcase - impeccable service, fast delivery, everything is great! The Yamaha HS8s are perfectly fine for the price. Cleanly processed, also very neutral in the upper mids, ie you can work analytically here. The setting options on the box are okay for this price range, but you shouldn't expect too much here. It's a shame that the volume control doesn't have a grid, that would make things a lot easier when setting up. Now the big "but": In contrast to some reviews, we definitely don't see the HS8 as the sole monitor in a studio; in our opinion, they are not suitable for this. It is missing in the lower area, important bass frequencies are simply not reproduced by the HS8, which can lead to unpleasant surprises in the end. On the other hand, the highs are a bit overemphasized - typically Yamaha ... We cannot judge how the HS8 behaves with a subwoofer, but we would strongly recommend it if you want to get a good mix with them alone. The Yamaha HS8s are used as reference monitors in our studio and are very well suited for this. You should definitely take your time and get to know the speakers - that is, listen to a lot of well-known songs at different volumes before mixing them, because "neutral" is different. So if you expect quality a la "Genelec", you will be disappointed, which is simply not available for this price, which should be clear to everyone. Conclusion: You get what you pay for - no more and no less, but a decent product.

Although I was happy with my jbl 305P mk ll monitors, I wanted an upgrade. These Yamaha HS8s are great. Very happy with its clear and full sound. This is the first time Recordcase has been used and it doesn't disappoint at all. Good service. Thank you.

recommendation

I wanted to buy the Dynaudio BM5 MKIII first but then decided on the Yamaha HS8. The ratio to price / performance is really great. I'm really happy. The sound is very clear and powerful. If you don't want that much bass, I recommend a smaller model. The order processing and delivery to Austria were flawless and the employee on the phone was also very friendly.

Because others used the same monitors, it is the same sound :) In addition, I have a lot of experience with self-build and MDF wood type gives the best bass sound for modern dance music ... every set of speakers, regardless of which brand have made a sound box from MDF wood board just that specific sound :)
