V-Moda LP2 Vocal black

For DJ monitoring, a closed-back design is useful when ambient noise makes it difficult to focus on the mix. The V-Moda LP2 Vocal is a wired over-ear headphone with detachable cables and a SpeakEasy microphone cable. This means you can use it at the DJ booth for listening and, with compatible mobile devices, for phone calls too.

The 50 mm Dual-Diaphragm drivers operate in a closed system. The around-ear cushions passively isolate sound; the folding ear cups make the headphones easier to store and let you move one cup out of the way while DJing. The headphones do not require a battery.

A 3.5 mm jack is used for the connection. The SpeakEasy cable has an integrated microphone and a one-button control for compatible smartphones; a separate audio cable is also included. A 6.3 mm adapter is included too, so you can connect the headphones to suitable DJ and studio outputs.

With an impedance of 32 ohms, the LP2 Vocal can be used with standard headphone outputs. The frequency response ranges from 5 to 30,000 Hz. It weighs 260 g without the cable; a semi-rigid carry case with a carabiner protects the headphones on the go.

This makes the model suitable for DJ sets, listening to music on the go and wired playback from a smartphone or a suitable audio output. Folding ear cups and interchangeable cables are particularly practical if you want to use the headphones both at the booth and on the go.
