For demanding club installations and performing DJs who do not want to compromise on sound, the UREI 1603 offers the ideal interface between modern technology and analogue warmth. This model is characterised by its enormous flexibility in everyday club use. With a total of four full-fledged stereo channels, you have free choice regarding your playback devices. Whether turntables, CD players or microphones – every channel can be individually adapted to your needs, with the phono inputs easily switchable to line sensitivity if required. A special highlight for DJs who work a lot with moderation or vocals: the first channel offers a dedicated microphone input with its own equaliser and a practical insert jack for external signal processors, while channels two to four are equipped with precise 3-band isolator equalisers.

You can keep control of your mix at all times thanks to an extremely comfortable monitoring section. This enables precise pre-listening of all channels as well as the Aux signals and can be flexibly configured via split and flip functions. The high-quality VCA crossfader with infinitely adjustable fader curve ensures smooth transitions and precise working, reliably eliminating distracting background noise. In addition, the UREI 1603 offers balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA connections for both the master and booth outputs, which guarantees a clean signal path to any PA system.

The well-thought-out concept of the housing also shows in its physical integration. Thanks to the connection terminal that can be rotated by 90 degrees, you can choose to place the device flat on the table, recess it into DJ furniture, or mount it in a 19-inch rack thanks to the integrated brackets. For maximum safety in professional club operation, there is also the integrated external mute interface, which automatically mutes the music channels in the event of a fire alarm, while the microphone channel remains active for important announcements.
