Creative scratch performances and fluid transitions merge into a professional unit with this two-channel digital mixer. The UREI 1601E was developed specifically for demanding DJs and is characterised by its robust construction and a highly advanced, integrated effects section. Instead of a classic sampler, this model offers a convenient variety of 25 different presets based on five high-quality basic effects. Thanks to the integrated BPM engine, each effect can be synchronised with the music signal either manually or fully automatically and assigned flexibly to the individual channels.

The creative possibilities of the effects section include filters, delay, pan, cutter, and flanger, among others. Using variable X/Y parameters and an adjustable signal level, you can adapt the sound precisely to your performance. In addition to the four simultaneously connectable phono or line sources, the unit also processes a separate microphone and line signal. A complex setup consisting of two CD players, two turntables, and an additional microphone can thus be realised without unplugging any cables. As a practical detail, the phono/line switch in each channel can be mounted in the position you prefer.

The installed, digitally controlled contactless VCA faders ensure exceptionally high durability. Since these do not process the audio signal directly but are read purely digitally, you benefit from a significantly longer service life compared to conventional controls. The precise 3-band isolator EQs allow for a full cut of the frequency band up to a boost of +6 dB. A well-thought-out layout in the fader area ensures that no obstructive knobs or switches hinder your fast hand movements. The mixer is rounded off by super-fast LED displays with peak hold, a flexible headphone section with its own EQ, and a built-in exciter for a dynamic sound profile.
