Product description Ultrasones Performance 840

A prominent bass character defines the tuning of the closed-back, dynamic Ultrasone Performance 840. These wired headphones are aimed at music lovers and are suitable for use at home, in the studio or on the go. Their 40 mm drivers use S-Logic Plus and ULE shielding.

The patented S-Logic-Plus technology creates a spatial listening experience through its distinctive sound guidance, which Ultrasone calls Natural Surround Sound. ULE technology with MU-metal shielding reduces the headphones’ electromagnetic radiation.

The ear cups are spacious inside and completely black on the outside. A soft-touch coating and glossy accents define the design; the tuning, geared towards a powerful low-frequency range, suits modern club music. Memory foam ear pads with protein leather and a metal headband designed to conform to the head help ensure a secure fit and shield against external noise.

The cable can be replaced using a bayonet connector. The package includes a 3-metre straight cable with a 3.5 mm plug and a gold-plated 6.3 mm screw-on adapter. A short cable with a microphone and remote control, as well as velour ear pads with memory foam, are available as optional extras for this model.

The Performance 840 is suited to wired hi-fi and studio setups if you are looking for a closed-back design, bass-focused tuning and replaceable cables. The 3.5 mm connection with 6.3 mm adapter allows you to connect it to compatible mobile devices and audio outputs.
