Product description Ultrasone Pro 900
A closed-back design is useful for monitoring, editing and critical listening when you want to minimise interference from external noise. The Ultrasone PRO 900 is a dynamic, closed-back headphone with 40 mm titanium-coated drivers and S-Logic Plus Natural Surround Sound. The patented technology creates a more spacious soundstage without electronic DSP processing.
At the same perceived volume, S-Logic can reduce sound pressure by up to 40 per cent or 3–4 dB. This can help reduce strain on your hearing during longer listening sessions, but it is no substitute for setting an appropriate volume. Sound pressure can be reduced at the same perceived volume.
A MU-metal shield is part of the ULE (Ultra Low Emission) technology. It is designed to reduce the electromagnetic fields generated by the headphones. MU-metal shielding with ULE technology is therefore a distinct feature alongside the spatial sound reproduction.
The USC (Ultra Soft Cable) cables are detachable and can be replaced when needed. The package includes a straight cable and a coiled cable, as well as a 6.3 mm to 3.5 mm adapter. Velour earpads in black and silver, a hard carry case, a demo CD and an instruction manual complete the package. Detachable USC cables make replacement easier if a cable becomes faulty.
With its closed-back design, 40-ohm impedance and detachable cables, the PRO 900 is suited to studio and listening setups where you want a wired headphone with spatial sound reproduction. For monitoring and focused listening, the design, connection options and S-Logic Plus are particularly important.
