The Luke Absorber ASB-1 is the ultimate solution against feedbacks, vibrations and rumble distortions, as they occur at any time in the hard DJ everyday life. Annoying interferences such as standing bass waves and vibrations are successfully absorbed. It guarantees a successful and stress-free performance. Rubber feet on the underside provide a secure grip and slip resistance. The recessed recesses on the upper side guarantee an optimal fit of turntables with identical foot dimensions of a Technics SL 1200. Specially manufactured foam dampers, which are located between two birch plywood panels glued under high pressure, successfully absorb the impacting sound and vibration waves. The open construction prevents the Luke ASB-1 from swinging up in the critical frequency range of 50Hz-450Hz. This ensures a clean signal transmission from the turntable or CD player, while additional rubber feet on the underside of the hatch ASB-1 provide a secure and non-slip grip. In addition, overtone-rich vibrations are absorbed. Rather than using cheaper inferior acrylic, each one is made from Polycarbonate - a very hardwearing plastic used in bullet proof glass - and made to fit your gear as closely as possible. The use of Polycarbonate means that thinner material can be used, making for discrete, strong yet attractive protection for your Turntable units.
