Top device I looked for a long time, decided, rejected it again and looked again. Ultimately it was the Technics SL-1200 GR. After 3 weeks of fine-tuning, listening and enjoying, I never want to give this device away again. I listen to pop, rock and metal and the Technics gets incredible things out of every LP, even with the very decent Ortofon Concorde R10 cartridge. Listening becomes a real pleasure again and can almost become addictive. Purchase via Recordcase exemplary. Delivery came 1 day after receipt of order. Well packaged - just as I expected with such a valuable device. I think since this will be the last record player I bought, I did everything right. Sure, the price of almost 1,700 euros put me off a lot at first. Why this device from Technics and what were your other selection players will now ask themselves a few questions. With the SL-1200GR you can tell by the weight. Turntable super elegant and heavy. The frame is also superbly crafted and simply an eye-catcher. The same applies to the S-shaped tonearm together with the Concorde, which is simply fantastic. You can see and feel the high quality of this device in every component. Simply TOP I would buy this player again and look forward to many hours of wonderful music enjoyment. The ones that didn't: Technics SL-1200MK7 is definitely good too - but no cover, and I'm not a DJ Reloop RP7000/8000 MK2 Reports of buzzing ballasts and turntables with high pitch are circulating on the internet - what put me off also applies to the Reloop Turn 5 (although even equipped with Ortofon Red and much cheaper) Thorens TD403-DD Definitely also a great device, I just didn't like the look of it quite as much as the Technics. The same applies to the Dual CS 618 Q. So, me I hope the report is helpful for some of you in making your decision. Great price performance ratio

I already had a few turntables, e.g. Rega Dual and Audio Technica AT-LP 140XP with Ortofon Bronze PnP MK2 and that's a really good combination, then I decided on the Technics 1200GR. The setup was pretty simple. All I had to do was mount the cartridge and the support weight set and.!? Wow what a difference, the Technics 1200GR plays in a completely different league and I have finally arrived when it comes to the sound characteristics with the Technics 1200GR, of course there is still an improvement with, for example, an MC pickup, but I am satisfied and can use the Technics 1200GR very recommended. Delivery damage

I am very satisfied with the device. Unfortunately, the device sustained transport damage which damaged the cover. I complained about the damage with photos and hope that the cover will be delivered in a timely manner.

Technics SL 1200 GR

I had actually ordered the 1210, but since it was not available at short notice, I decided on the 1200. I definitely do not regret this decision, on the contrary, I am more than just satisfied with the 1200, in retrospect I am annoyed not having ordered this player much earlier, I definitely recommend buying the 1200. The shipping was also super fast, ordered today and delivered tomorrow, a big thank you.

Technics SL 1200 Gr

At first I had my concerns about transferring the huge amount for two Technics record players via PayPal, but one day after the order they were delivered by DHL, exemplary! For the record players themselves, had two 1210s before and therefore decided to go for Technics again. The new edition is beyond any doubt in all areas, except for the xD Bin price!

Honestly the prices for the tables are absolutely excessive. Sure they last 20 years. If not longer if you take care of them. I had bought a golden 1200ltd in 1999 for DM 1700 each. Now you pay depending on the serial number. 2000-10000 (24k full gold of the. 0001-euro, you better buy the new one. We will definitely be far below the mk2 or mk5.

Overpriced digitally controlled player!

The Technics GR may be outstanding. But for the price, I would rather rely on old devices like the Mk2 or Mk5. The mods can be quickly realized with the old models and even cheaper than if you get two from the GR. The old one is easy to maintain, which becomes more problematic with the new one. Therefore: Better to take the Mk2, MK5 and M5G!

M mn. better than the previous ones. The price is acceptable and the quality is very good. I can heartily recommend this device.

After several days and XX hours of listening, I can definitely recommend this device, but you shouldn't expect a G / GAE in GR, which is often confused. Sound-technically top-on a similar high level as the old MK5 or MK6. I would even say the old M5G & MK4 models are extremely thin compared to the GR, but that's my subjective opinion. Enormous age, like the old Technics models, the beauty will probably not reach, but there is too much electronics on board for it. Well preserved, unbreakable old Technics 1210/00 models are very rare and very expensive, so I make a clear purchase recommendation for the new GR ,

Proud price, but perfect, robust quality as before with improved components everywhere. Tonearm, motor. Everything runs like the old 1210 has never run. Save yourself the money for the mods and get the new one straight away.

I purchased this turntable on Friday and today Tuesday already at my house. Excellent packaging. Once finished, I connect it immediately to my system. A spectacular sound. Then aesthetically it is very beautiful. A very detailed sound with nice, not annoying basses. I highly recommend it to a DJ
