Product description Stanton S.300

If individual CDs are to fit into a DJ setup instead of a complete media system, a tabletop player with direct drive control is the right choice. The Stanton S.300 plays audio CDs and MP3 CDs and combines MP3 playback with DJ control functions such as pitch control, pitch bend and Fader Start.

The top-loading drive is controlled using clearly arranged controls. Instant Start and Auto Cue support direct playback from the beginning of a track; you can select tracks directly using the numeric keypad. An anti-shock buffer protects playback from brief jolts during operation.

Pitch ranges of ±8%, ±12% and ±16% are available for tempo adjustment. Pitch Bend lets you temporarily correct the playback speed. The player offers Single and Continue playback modes, as well as Fader Start for control via a compatible DJ mixer.

For connecting to a mixer, there is an analogue stereo output via RCA as well as a digital S/PDIF output. A mini-jack headphone connection is located on the rear panel. This makes the device suitable for CD-based DJ setups that use analogue or digital signal paths.
