Product description SM Pro Audio XP200
A turntable outputs a phono signal, which must first be pre-amplified and equalised before it can be connected to a line input. The SM Pro Audio XP200 handles this with RIAA equalisation and phono pre-amplification, outputting the signal at line level via RCA. To digitise your records, connect the output to an audio interface or another suitable recording device.
The preamplifier handles MM and MC cartridges. A gain control lets you adjust the output level to suit the connected device. For connection, it provides a stereo RCA input and a stereo RCA output; shielding against high-frequency interference helps ensure low-noise operation.
The compact device can be powered by an optional 12 V adapter or an optional 9 V battery. This makes it suitable both for connecting a turntable to a line-input setup and for use as part of a chain for recording and digitising vinyl.
