Product description Sennheiser HD7 DJ
When cueing in a DJ mix, one ear needs to be able to quickly free itself from the headphones. To make this possible, both ear cups of the closed-back, dynamic Sennheiser HD7 DJ can swivel by 210° and lock into three wearing positions. The over-ear design attenuates ambient noise, helping you concentrate better on the mix while monitoring.
The acoustic system is designed for the work of DJs and producers. A slight emphasis on the lower mids keeps the sound tight and structured, while the reproduction remains clear into the high frequencies. The headphones can handle high peak levels. Their good attenuation of external noise can also help you monitor at a lower volume.
Two detachable, single-sided cables are available for connection: a coiled cable measuring 1.5 to 3 m and a straight cable measuring 3 m. Both are Kevlar-sheathed, made of oxygen-free copper and feature gold-plated contacts. The bayonet lock secures the cable to the headphones; you can connect it to either ear cup.
The durable materials are designed for regular use. Velour and synthetic leather ear pads are included for longer sessions, and can be replaced. A protective pouch is also included. With its 95-ohm impedance, two cable options and swivel ear cups, this model is suitable for DJ monitoring and music production when a closed-back design and single-ear monitoring are required.
