At the heart of the R21S's performance is the shock-absorbing microphone element. The capsule offers high output gain and a low impedance design and also features a cardioid polar pattern. This allows the R21S to pick up all the nuances of any performance with exceptional clarity and detail, while reducing feedback and unwanted signals.

The R21S offers a frequency response of 80Hz-12kHz, which is ideal for vocal and presentation applications. The microphone is also designed for high sound pressure levels, producing vocals that sound large and crystal clear. This makes the R21S a versatile tool even when recording.

The R21S has a convenient on/off switch and comes with an XLR to 6.3 mm jack microphone cable and a microphone clip.
