Product description Samson R21S

For vocals and speech on stage, directional pickup helps to limit background noise and feedback. The Samson R21S with cardioid polar pattern dynamic handheld microphone picks up sound primarily from the front and is suitable for live performances, presentations and recordings.

The shock-mounted microphone element reduces handling noise; the built-in windscreen reduces breath and pop noise. At close range to the sound source, the proximity effect boosts the bass frequencies. The frequency response of 80 Hz to 12 kHz and design for high sound pressure levels make it suitable for vocal and speech applications.

An on/off switch makes it easy to mute the microphone between uses. You can secure it in the on position with the switch lock. The microphone has a three-pin, balanced XLR output; the included cable terminates in a 6.3 mm jack. For maximum signal processing, the connected input should have a load impedance of at least 800 ohms.

The R21S can be attached to a standard microphone stand with the microphone clip or used handheld. For vocals and speech during live performances and presentations, it is a suitable choice if you are looking for a dynamic handheld microphone with directional pickup, a switch and an XLR-to-jack cable.
