Roland VAD103

Whether in the rehearsal room or on the concert stage, Roland's VAD (V-Drums Acoustic Design) hybrid kits are designed to combine the look and feel of a traditional acoustic drum kit with the innovative technology of Roland's V-Drums.

It's all powered by the high-performance TD-07 sound module, which comes equipped with 25 fantastic factory kits with over 140 individual sounds and offers 25 user slots for configuring your own kits. The kits were recorded by professional drummers in high-end studios and brought to life using advanced behavior modeling technology. This way, each kit sounds and behaves exactly like an acoustic drum kit.

As a member of the V-Drums Acoustic Design Series, the VAD103 also features real wooden shells with the presence of an acoustic drum kit, making playing on an electronic drum kit even more immersive. The VAD103 gives you an exciting and unique drumming experience - not just a simulation.

The combination of electronic drum kit and headphones ensures that you can play drums without disturbing the people around you. The VAD103's pads were designed to actually play quietly. This way, you benefit from reduced hit noise and vibrations without having to compromise on your playing.

You can connect your smartphone, tablet or laptop to the kit via Bluetooth and stream audio files wirelessly to the module. With the VAD103's Coach mode, you can put your timing and precision to the test. The series of exercises will always set you new challenges and ranges from easy to difficult. 

Furthermore, you can also transmit MIDI data in parallel via the USB cable and thus control virtual instruments. So you can realize an incredible authenticity and natural playing style for your productions in the studio as well.
