Roland TR-8

With the new TR-8 by Roland music history is written again! This new cult machine includes both the TR-808 and TR-909 in one unit with high resolution audio engine (32bit/96kHz). The combination of 808 and 909 instruments in new kitts is now also possible, all instruments can be transferred individually to a DAW via USB audio.

For the development of the TR-8, all details of the TR-808 and TR-909 sound generation were thoroughly analyzed and reproduced using the Analog Circuit Behavior technology. The Tune and Decay controls are available for each instrument, and the bass drum and snare categories have dedicated attack and comp controls. This guarantees a high degree of sound variability - from ambient percussion to dance grooves. Effects that can be defined per single step and the addictive "scatter" function stand for this new generation of rhythm composers.
