Product description Roland DJ-505

The Roland DJ-505 offers you the perfect mix of DJ controller and music production machine. With this device, you can not only shine on a professional stage or in a club but also creatively create your own beats and rhythms in real time.

With the Analog Circuit Behavior Technology developed by Roland, the company carefully modeled the legendary TR-series drum machines and packed them into the DJ-505 controller. These iconic drums not only sound better than samples because they are virtually analog, but they can also be quickly and easily integrated into the performance thanks to the 16-step sequencer. Whether for transitions, quick pre-productions, or improvisations, no other controller offers so much flexibility!

Scratching on the Roland DJ-505 is easy thanks to the large, low-latency jog wheels – they feel as natural as vinyl. The special Serato DJ controls on the DJ-505 allow you to trigger hot cues, loops, TR sounds, sequencer patterns, and samples. Additionally, the Deck Select button allows you to quickly and easily switch between the four decks of the DJ-505. Three FX selection buttons on each deck give access to channel filters or Serato FX.

For even more flexibility, the DJ-505 not only offers a wide range of connections for microphones, instruments, and external devices, but also a MIDI output function that lets you control other MIDI-compatible devices. The high-quality AD/DA converters ensure clear and powerful sound, while the XLR outputs make it easy to connect to a professional PA system.

Thanks to its robust build and versatile applications, the Roland DJ-505 is the ideal choice for DJs who want to perform live and create their own music productions. Whether for transitions, quick pre-productions, or improvisations, no other controller offers so much flexibility!

Good Serato controller with character

Most controllers in this range feel a bit same-same. This one has its own flavor. The TR section is the selling point for sure, and the MIDI out is nice if you use other gear. Not perfect, but way more inspiring than a boring standard unit.

Endlich mal was anderes als Standard

Dennis — 14 February 2023

Review with rating of 3 out of 5 stars

More creative than expected

Really fun controller. I bought it mainly for Serato, but the drum sequencer is the thing that keeps me using it. You can do small live remix ideas without bringing extra gear, and that is kinda addictive. Build feels solid enough and setup was easy on my side. For this money, very very good.

Review with rating of 3 out of 5 stars

Starkes Konzept, aber nicht ganz ohne Macken

Ich will fair bleiben: vom Funktionsumfang her super.

Important questions about the article Roland DJ-505

Question: Is Serato DJ Pro included with the Roland DJ-505?

Answer: Yes. The DJ-505 unlocks Serato DJ Pro and comes with the Serato Tool Kit licence, including Pitch ’n Time DJ, Serato Flip and the Serato DJ FX packs.

Question: Does the DJ-505 work with two or four decks?

Answer: The unit has a two-channel mixer but can control up to four Serato decks via the Deck Select button. Four simultaneously playing sources are therefore switched onto the two physical mixer channels.

Question: Can I use the Roland DJ-505 without a computer?

Answer: Yes, as a standalone mixer for turntables or media players connected to its phono and line inputs. Serato control and the controller and sequencer functions, however, require a computer running Serato DJ Pro.

Answer: Yes. The inputs allow external players to be used with the mixer; the DJ-505 is ready for the Serato DVS upgrade for timecode vinyl or CDs.

Question: What can the integrated TR sequencer do?

Answer: The 16-step sequencer plays TR drums or the Serato Sampler in sync with Serato tracks. Editable kits with sounds from the TR-909, TR-808, TR-707 and TR-606 are available.

Answer: Yes. The 6.3 mm microphone input offers gate, high-pass, reverb and echo effects; the MIDI output can synchronise external devices to the Serato or TR-S sequencer.

Question: How many performance pads does the Roland DJ-505 have?

Answer: The DJ-505 has eight dedicated pad controls. They control Hot Cues, Roll, Slicer, TR sounds, Patterns and the Serato Sampler, among other functions.

Pioneer DJ DDJ-REV5

Pioneer DJ DDJ-REV5 is a 2-channel performance controller for Serato DJ Pro and rekordbox, combining classic scratch feel with modern software control. The layout takes inspiration from a battle setup with turntables and a mixer, but brings features like stems, Piano Play and Auto BPM Transition right under your fingers. Large jog wheels, a precise MAGVEL-FADER and the thoughtfully arranged pads, faders and FX lever controls make it a controller for creative sets, clean transitions and quick live interventions. Scratch layout with direct access The long tempo faders sit horizontally over the decks, while performance pads and lever FX are placed close to the mixer area. This makes the controls feel familiar when you come from turntablism or prefer a setup with PLX turntables and a DJM-S mixer. Especially when scratching, beat-juggling and using effects quickly, everything stays exactly where you intuitively expect it.The large jog wheels have a grippy vinyl texture and respond precisely to your movements. With Jog Feel you can adjust the resistance feel to match your style. The built-in displays show you the playback position in the track, so you stay on top of things when cueing, scratching and navigating quickly. MAGVEL fader for fine movements The robust MAGVEL crossfader is designed for precise cuts, fast movements and clean scratch techniques. It translates small hand movements directly and consistently. This is particularly important when you’re working with chirps, transformers, crabs or beat-juggling and want to rely on a controlled fader feel.Even with intensive use, the controller stays clearly structured. Trim, 3-band EQ, filters, FX control and performance pads work together seamlessly. This lets you not only mix your transitions, but also actively shape them without having to constantly switch between the software view and the hardware. Stems right under your fingers With the dedicated stem buttons, you can separate individual elements of a track and control them directly on the device. In Serato DJ Pro, you work with vocals, drums, bass and melody. In rekordbox, vocals, drums and inst are available. That’s how spontaneous mashups, breaks or remixes are created without you needing to prepare your own edits in advance. Stems mute and solo for quick live interventions Stems separate to distribute individual tracks across the decks Stems level for controlling volume via the EQ controls In combination with Deck Move and Dual Deck, the controller becomes especially flexible. You can control multiple decks, move stems and build creative layers. This suits open-format sets, hip-hop, electronic music and any situation where you want to reassemble tracks live. Piano Play instead of standard pads The Piano Play mode uses the 16 performance pads like a small keyboard. Cue points are triggered in different semitone steps, with the layout reminiscent of white and black keys. You can choose from three scales and play melodic ideas, even if you don’t want to go deep into music theory. In addition, the combo pad mode offers the option to combine different pad functions on a single deck. Hot cues, rolls, saved loops or sampler functions can be linked together more quickly. This makes the pads not just triggers, but a true tool for rhythmic and melodic interventions. Tempo changes without hard breaks Auto BPM Transition helps you mix tracks with widely different tempos. You set the number of bars, start the transition and the currently playing track gradually adjusts its tempo to the track on the other deck. This can be particularly useful when you switch between genres and want the transition controlled rather than abrupt.During the transition, you can include functions like stems, auto-loops and key lock. This keeps mixes musically cleaner and gives you more time to prepare the next track. Especially in open-format sets with changing BPM ranges, this feature is a practical tool. Ready for two laptops and larger setups With two USB-C ports for PC or Mac, the controller can be used conveniently for DJ turnarounds. Two computers can remain connected while switching happens directly on the device. This saves time during transitions between two DJs and reduces unnecessary set-up changes during ongoing operation. The connections on the rear are versatile enough for professional setups. XLR and Cinch master, a balanced booth output, AUX input, two microphone inputs and two headphone outputs give you enough flexibility for club, bar, livestream or mobile DJing. Power is supplied via a separate USB-C port with a power adapter. Why the Pioneer DJ DDJ-REV5 fits you This controller is just right for you if you’re looking for a scratch-oriented layout but don’t want to miss out on modern performance features. It’s suitable for advanced DJs, turntablists, open-format DJs and ambitious beginners who want to work directly with Serato DJ Pro or rekordbox. If you play a lot with hot cues, stems, effects, fast cuts and genre-spanning transitions, the Pioneer DJ controller offers a strong mix of control, creativity and clear operation. For scratch DJs who prefer a battle layout For open-format sets with fast genre and BPM changes For creative live remixes with stems and performance pads For setups with two computers and quick DJ switching Features Pioneer DJ DDJ-REV5 2-channel performance DJ controller with 4-deck control for Serato DJ Pro and rekordbox Scratch-style layout with horizontal tempo faders, central performance pads and lever FX Large jog wheels with vinyl texture, built-in position indicator and adjustable jog feel Robust MAGVEL crossfader for precise scratching, fast cuts and beat-juggling Dedicated stems control for vocals, drums, bass and melody in Serato DJ Pro Stems control for vocals, drums and inst in rekordbox Piano Play mode for triggering cue points in semitone steps via the 16 performance pads Combo pad mode for combining different performance modes on the pads Auto BPM Transition for controlled transitions between tracks with different tempos Deck Move and Dual Deck modes for flexible control of multiple decks 3-band EQ, Trim, multimode filter, three FX slots and lever FX control per deck Two USB-C ports for PC or Mac enable easy switching between two DJs Extensive connectivity with XLR master, Cinch master, booth output, AUX, two microphone inputs and two headphone outputs Plug-and-play compatible with Serato DJ Pro and rekordbox USB-C port for power supply via the included AC adapter Serato Pitch ’n Time DJ Expansion Pack voucher included in the package Technical specifications Software Serato DJ Pro | rekordbox Channels 2 Deck control 4 decks Frequency response 20 Hz - 20 kHz Jog wheel diameter 206 mm Signal-to-noise ratio USB 110 dB Signal-to-noise ratio LINE 95 dB Signal-to-noise ratio PORTABLE 89 dB Signal-to-noise ratio MIC1 and MIC2 81 dB Total harmonic distortion 0.003 % dB USB Inputs AUX 1x Cinch | MIC 1x XLR and 6.3 mm TRS jack | MIC 1x 6.3 mm TRS jack Outputs MASTER 1x XLR | MASTER 1x Cinch | BOOTH 1x 6.3 mm TRS jack | PHONES 1x 6.3 mm stereo jack | PHONES 1x 3.5 mm stereo mini-jack USB ports 3x USB Type-C | 2x PC/Mac connection | 1x power supply Power supply AC adapter DC 5 V 3.0 A | DC 9 V 3.0 A | DC 12 V 3.0 A | DC 15 V 3.0 A | DC 20 V 2.25 A Power consumption 3 A Weight 6.2 kg Dimensions (W x D x H) 736 x 377.2 x 73.4 mm In the box Pioneer DJ DDJ-REV5 controller Power cable AC adapter USB-C cable Serato DJ Pro Pitch ’n Time DJ voucher Quick start guide Warranty and safety instructions

Pioneer DJ DDJ-XP2

Pioneer DJ DDJ-XP2 is a compact Add-On DJ controller for rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro, which expands your existing setup with direct performance control. At the heart of it are 32 multi-colour performance pads, two Slide FX strips, and a layout designed especially for Hot Cues, samples, loops, Beat Jump, Slicer, and transport functions. With USB bus power, the controller is easy to integrate without needing an additional power supply. 32 pads for quick ideas The large 16 x 2 pad matrix gives you direct access to creative functions in your DJ software. You can trigger Hot Cues, samples, loop and Slicer functions without having to work your way through menus. The multi-colour pads provide clear visual feedback and remain easy to control even during fast finger-drumming passages. It’s particularly strong when you want to run multiple actions quickly in succession. In Serato DJ Pro, you can use 16 pads per deck, so you can operate Hot Cues and samples in parallel, for example, without constantly switching between modes. Two software worlds, one workflow The controller works with both rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro. This means it fits into many setups, regardless of which software you prefer. Popular functions such as Hot Cues, Beat Jump and Slicer can be controlled directly from the hardware and feel familiar in both programmes. For rekordbox, the DDJ-XP2 offers extra flexibility thanks to the pad editor. This allows you to adapt the pad layout to your working style. You decide which functions you want to have ready at your fingertips, and you build a control surface that matches your style. Transport control right under your fingers With transport mode, the pads become the control centre for basic deck functions. Play, pause, Cue, as well as Pitch Up and Pitch Down can be triggered directly. This is especially practical if you’re using a streamlined setup or prefer to control specific tasks via pads rather than with a mouse or keyboard. With rekordbox, this also lets you work very efficiently with a laptop and the controller. At the same time, access to important performance functions remains available, without you having to constantly switch focus when performing. Control effects with movement The Slide FX strips are designed for dynamic effect sweeps. You touch the strip and move your finger up or down to change effect combinations directly. This makes it possible to shape FX progressions intuitively, without having to constantly switch the selected effect on or off.The loop section is also based on the DJM-S9 mixer. This gives you a familiar structure for loops, rolls, and related performance techniques. Especially during transitions, breaks, or short live interventions, this direct operation is a clear advantage. Silent Cue for clean starts Silent Cue helps you prepare tracks cleanly. When a deck is stopped, the music doesn’t slowly ramp up once triggered, but instead starts immediately at the appropriate speed. This is particularly helpful if you’re working with turntables, DVS, or open faders and want to use Hot Cues precisely. In addition, creative functions such as Key Shift and Keyboard mode are available. This lets you play Hot Cues musically and change pitch in a targeted way. It opens up more room for harmonic transitions and short melodic interventions. Who is the Pioneer DJ DDJ-XP2 for? AlphaTheta OMNIS DUO DJ Controller Top View

Average rating of 4.56 out of 5 stars

AlphaTheta OMNIS-DUO

With the AlphaTheta OMNIS-DUO, you get a compact all-in-one DJ system designed for mobile use that gives you noticeably more freedom when performing. The device combines a familiar standalone setup with an integrated battery, flexible audio connections, and a well-thought-out interface. This means you are not tied to traditional DJ booths, but can play your set wherever it suits the moment. It is precisely this mix of mobility, ease of use, and versatile connectivity that makes this system especially interesting. Perform freely wherever you want The lightweight, compact design makes the controller a compelling solution for anyone who wants to transport their setup without much effort. Rounded edges, an easy-to-carry format, and the option to take the system in a larger backpack provide a clear practical advantage. This way, you stay flexible with your setup without having to give up a complete DJ experience. In addition, there is the integrated battery with up to five hours of runtime. So you do not necessarily need an external power source when you want to perform spontaneously. For longer sessions, the device can be recharged via USB-C with a suitable power supply. This reduces luggage, simplifies setup, and gives you more freedom when choosing where to perform. Operation with a clear focus The layout with two decks and mixer section is structured in a familiar way and supports a direct workflow without detours. Especially when you want to react quickly, the logically structured surface helps you work in a focused way. The integrated touchscreen usefully complements the operating concept and gives you important information quickly and clearly. Especially practical are the two display modes for bright and dark environments, so you can clearly recognize content even in changing lighting conditions. There is also an effects section with 8 Beat FX and 6 Sound Color FX. This lets you shape transitions, structure tracks, and give your set more dynamics without making the operation unnecessarily complicated. At the same time, the system remains clear and is aimed specifically at DJs who work mobile but still want to intervene creatively. Music sources without rigid limits The versatility of playable sources is particularly strong. You can use music from USB storage devices, SD cards, or via Wi-Fi . In addition, connection to PC or Mac is possible when you work with rekordbox in performance mode. Support for Serato DJ Lite also expands the possibilities for different ways of working.Especially exciting is the Bluetooth audio input. This allows tracks to be played directly from a smartphone. This not only gives you an additional source in your set, but also creates room for spontaneous music requests or shared moments with your audience. Functions such as volume adjustment, EQ, effects, tempo changes, Hot Cues, and scratch options remain available. Connectivity with real practical value The AlphaTheta system also shows how consistently it is designed for flexible use when it comes to outputs. In addition to XLR and RCA master outputs, you also have a Bluetooth audio output available. This is especially interesting when you play in places where traditional cabling is not the focus or is intentionally meant to be reduced. For more professional environments, the wired connection via XLR naturally remains the safe choice. This is complemented by various monitoring and microphone connections, allowing you to use the device sensibly both for spontaneous sessions and structured events. The combination of wireless freedom and classic connections makes the OMNIS-DUO a versatile tool that is not limited to a single usage scenario. Design with its own character The distinctive indigo color gives the device a unique appearance without seeming obtrusive. Together with the soft shapes and clear lines, it creates a look that is modern but does not appear short-lived. As a result, the design fits into both private environments and professional settings. The focus here was not only on function, but also on a design that gives the mobile concept a suitable visual identity. Does the AlphaTheta OMNIS-DUO suit your style? This system is especially suitable for you if you want to DJ on the go without taking a separate setup with multiple devices. It is suitable for DJs who work at small events, private parties, outdoor sessions, or spontaneous locations and do not want to miss out on creative control, multiple sources, and professional connections. Even if you like working with rekordbox or are looking for a compact standalone system that can be transported easily, this controller is a very fitting choice. Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX10

With the Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX10, you get a 4-channel controller that combines modern performance features with the familiar club-style layout from Pioneer DJ. The model works with rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro, giving you full control over four decks, and is aimed at anyone who wants to do more than simply transition cleanly in their set. Particularly striking are the Track Separation function, the expanded on-jog displays, the revised MAGVEL fader, and the built-in DMX output for lighting control directly via rekordbox. Creative access to every track One of the most noticeable new features is Track Separation. This lets you separate vocals, drums and instruments within a loaded song and access individual components directly and specifically. This opens up new ways for live remixes, spontaneous mash-ups, and transitions that reach much deeper into the material than classic mixing techniques. What’s practical is that you don’t have to change your usual way of working. You load your tracks as you normally would from the library, then decide directly in the mix which elements you want to use, combine, or edit with effects. Especially for open formats, edits, and performance-heavy sets, it gives you more freedom while you’re playing. More focus on the set The large 170 mm jogwheels provide a direct, precise playing feel and give you enough surface area for fine adjustments, long pitch bends, and controlled scratch movements. On top of that, the expanded on-jog displays show you, depending on your needs, deck information, waveform, artwork, or your DJ logo. This keeps important content closer to your hand position. When combined with the Feeling-Adjust control, you can tailor the responsiveness of the jogwheels to your style. This makes the controller not only flexible, but also pleasant for everyday use when you switch between clean mixing, cue work, and performance-focused interventions. Tools for clean transitions With Mix Point Link, you plan transitions with significantly more control. You set defined mix points in your tracks and ensure that the next track starts automatically at the right moment and cleanly on the beat. This saves time during preparation, and is especially helpful when you want your set to be tightly structured musically. The revised MAGVEL fader also supports this kind of precise working. The 4-sensor system responds especially sensitively to movements and gives you exact control over volume contours and crossfader actions. Together with 14 Beat FX, 6 Sound Color FX, and the 2x8 performance pads, you get very direct access to key performance functions. Lighting, software and setup without detours The built-in DMX output is a strong argument if you want to integrate lighting directly into your setup. You can connect compatible lighting without an external DMX interface and use rekordbox for coordinated lighting effects. This is especially interesting when music and lighting are meant to work closely together. There are also two USB-C ports for simultaneous operation with two computers, switchable line/phono inputs, and an extensive connection section for fixed or changing setups. The controller unlocks rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro as soon as you connect it, so you can get started without an additional hardware dongle. An upgrade to DVS is possible if required. Who is the Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX10 for? This model is just right for you if you don’t just want to mix, but to actively work on tracks. The 4-channel layout, the close integration with rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro, and the performance features make it particularly appealing to DJs who work with multiple decks, prepare their own transitions, and want to reshape things spontaneously during a set. suitable for advanced DJs focused on performance and remixes interesting for club DJs looking for a familiar layout useful for Serato and rekordbox users with changing workflows ideal for artists who want to integrate lighting control directly into their setup The controller is less intended for purely basic beginner setups with minimal feature needs. However, anyone who wants to work specifically with four decks, pads, effects, mix points and track components gets a well-thought-out control centre with plenty of direct access. Features Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX10 Professional 4-channel DJ controller with club layout for rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro Track Separation for separating vocals, drums and instrumental for creative interventions during the live set Expanded on-jog displays with the Deck Info, waveform, artwork and DJ logo modes Large 170 mm jogwheels with a multi-colour illuminated ring and adjustable feel via the Feeling-Adjust control Mix Point Link for precisely prepared transitions with an automatically matching start point Revised MAGVEL fader with a 4-sensor system for finer and more direct fader movements DMX output for direct control of compatible lighting equipment via rekordbox Lighting 2x8 performance pads for Hot Cues, Pad FX, Beat Jump and samples Comprehensive mixer section with control over all channels and different sources Effect section with 14 Beat FX and 6 Sound Color FX for sound shaping in the mix Two USB-C ports for PC or Mac and parallel use with two DJs Hardware unlock for rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro, plus optional DVS expansion for an additional charge Technical data Compatible software rekordbox | Serato DJ Pro Jogwheels 170 mm Frequency range 20 - 20.000 Hz AD/DA conversion 24 Bit | 44.1 kHz S/N ratio 110 dB THD < 0,002 % (USB) Power supply Power cable | DC 12 V, 3 000 mA Weight 6.7 kg Dimensions (W x D x H) 716 x 400 x 43 mm In the box Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX10 DJ controller Power cable Power adapter USB-C cable Voucher for Serato Pitch ’n Time DJ Quick start guide Usage notes Warranty and safety instructions

pioneer dj ddj rev1 top

Average rating of 4.83 out of 5 stars

Pioneer DJ DDJ-REV1

With the Pioneer DJ DDJ-REV1 you get a compact 2-channel DJ controller that is clearly designed for Serato DJ Lite and scratch-oriented mixing. The layout is based on a classic battle setup with two turntables and a DJM-S-mixer. Large jog wheels, direct performance pads, Lever FX, and an integrated microphone input give you plenty of control without making the entry unnecessarily complicated. Battle layout with clear direction The control surface is designed so that you can get your bearings quickly. Tempo sliders, loop controls and the mixer section are arranged in a way that brings to mind a professional scratch setup. This leaves enough room for quick hand movements, smooth transitions and first scratch techniques.Particularly practical is the direct control of up to four decks in Serato. With the Deck 3/4 buttons you can quickly switch to additional decks without the controller becoming larger or more cluttered. This keeps the setup compact yet flexible. Large jog wheels for more feel The 154 mm large jog wheels give you noticeably better control when mixing and scratching than smaller entry-level controllers. Movements can be adjusted precisely, which makes a clear difference especially for cueing, backspinning and scratch practice. With the Tracking Scratch function, the music automatically and silently jumps back to the selected cue point as soon as you release the jog wheel or move it forward again after a backward movement. This makes it easier for you to get started with scratching, because you can focus more on timing and movement. Effects right in your hand Lever FX makes applying effects very direct. If you pull the lever down, the effect is activated only briefly. If you push it up, it stays on continuously. This allows you to place effects precisely without having to navigate menus or use awkward button combinations. When used with Serato DJ Lite, transitions can be made more lively, drops can be prepared, or short accents can be set. The advantage lies in straightforward operation: your hands stay close to the faders, pads and jog wheels while you shape the sound. Serato DJ Lite seamlessly integrated The controller is prepared for Serato DJ Lite and works class compliant. You connect it to your computer via USB, start the software, and you can get going right away. There is no need for an elaborate driver installation. For Hot Cues, Auto Loops, Sampler, Scratch Bank and other performance functions, the pads are available for quick access. In addition, there is a 3-band EQ and a dedicated filter control per channel, with which you can control transitions cleanly and make tracks work together musically. Voice directly in the mix Through the 6.3 mm microphone input you can connect a microphone directly. This is especially useful when you moderate streams, make announcements, or want to incorporate your voice into a set. You don’t need a separate sound card or an additional mixing console for this. The microphone level can be adjusted directly on the unit. This keeps your setup clear, so you can focus on music, transitions and performance. Who is the Pioneer DJ DDJ-REV1 for? AlphaTheta DDJ-GRV6

With the AlphaTheta DDJ-GRV6, you get a 4-channel controller that combines classic DJ craftsmanship with new remix possibilities. The device is clearly aimed at anyone who wants to do more than just mix their sets cleanly, but also shape and rebuild them live. At the heart of it is the Groove Circuit feature in rekordbox, which lets you swap drum parts during playback, create breaks, or add new rhythmic accents. On top of that, it features a layout closely based on professional club equipment, giving you a familiar workflow from the very first moment. Remix directly in your set The DJ controller gives you an unusually direct approach to live remixing. Instead of only handling transitions, you can reshape running tracks rhythmically and change individual drum elements with precision. Especially in combination with Drum Swap, Drum Roll/Trans, Drum Release, and Capture, this creates a workflow that is creative without becoming unnecessarily complicated. This is especially powerful when you want to react spontaneously to mood, tempo, or genre. You can create breakdowns, add fills, or transfer prepared drum elements into other tracks later on. This turns a conventional mix into a set with more movement, more variation, and more personal character. Familiar layout, clear control AlphaTheta deliberately uses a layout here that is based on the CDJ-3000 and DJM-A9. This means you will quickly find your way around if you have already worked with club setups or want to develop in exactly that direction. The large jog wheels support precise handling and give you a confident, direct feel when scratching. The eight performance pads are also positioned thoughtfully and support smooth switching between cue points, pad actions, effects, and creative interventions. As a result, the device does not feel overloaded, but well structured. That is a real advantage, especially during longer sessions, because you can reach functions quickly and stay focused on your mix. Find faster, choose better Anyone who manages a lot of music knows how important good navigation is. The Smart Rotary Selector makes your search much easier because it does not just work in the traditional way with turning and pressing, but also supports lateral and vertical inputs. This brings more speed to library management and makes large collections much easier to navigate. The Discover feature usefully complements this when you are looking for new track ideas while preparing or live in your set. Fast navigation through media browser, tree view, and track lists Direct access to track suggestions via the Discover button Practical for large playlists, changing genres, and spontaneous sets Helpful for finding older favorites again with precision Open to different setups The model works with rekordbox on Mac and Windows as well as with rekordbox for iOS and Android. It is also compatible with Serato DJ Pro, giving you access to additional creative functions. Particularly interesting here is the use of Stems FX, which lets you apply effects specifically to drums, bass, vocals, or melodies. This significantly expands your possibilities without forcing you to make your setup unnecessarily complicated. The focus on practical use is also evident in the connections. Mic input, master outputs, booth out, two headphone jacks, and two USB-C ports neatly cover many typical applications. Power is supplied flexibly via power adapter or USB bus power, which makes the controller appealing both for fixed workstations and mobile use. Thought through down to the details The matte surface and ergonomic housing ensure that the 4-channel controller remains comfortable to use even during intensive sessions. The minimalist design looks tidy and supports quick access to the most important functions. Precisely because the manufacturer has integrated many creative tools, a clear structure is essential. That is exactly what succeeds here with intuitive operation and a sensible arrangement of the central controls.A good example of this is the placement of Groove Circuit above the performance pads. This keeps access direct while preventing accidental contact with the jog wheel in hectic moments. In everyday use, these details often matter more than individual marketing claims because they directly affect how smoothly and confidently you work. Is the AlphaTheta DDJ-GRV6 right for you? This setup is exactly right for you if you want more than a controller for classic transitions. The AlphaTheta DDJ-GRV6 is especially well suited to DJs who work with rekordbox, orient themselves around club standards, and want to expand their sets with creative rhythmic interventions. Thanks to its clear operating logic, the device is suitable both for ambitious beginners with serious goals and for advanced users looking for a flexible performance tool. Well suited for DJs focused on rekordbox and modern performance mixing Exciting for creative users who want to implement live remixes directly in their set Useful for switchers who prefer a club-style layout with large jog wheels Interesting for Serato users who want to work more precisely with Stems FX The device is less suitable for you if you are looking exclusively for a very simple beginner setup without an extended feature set. If, on the other hand, you value creative control, familiar club logic, and flexible software connectivity, this model offers you a well-thought-out and modern workspace for versatile DJ sets. AlphaTheta DDJ-GRV6 Features 4-channel DJ controller with club-oriented layout for creative mix and remix performances Compatible with rekordbox for Win, Mac, iOS and Android as well as with Serato DJ Pro Groove Circuit feature for swapping and editing drum parts during playback Drum Swap replaces drum loops with the press of a button directly in the playing track Drum-Roll/Trans enables spontaneous rolls, fills and rhythmic transitions Drum-Release creates breakdowns through targeted use of release FX on drum parts Capture stores extracted drum parts for later use in other tracks Smart Rotary Selector with tilt, rotation and push function for fast library navigation Discover button provides direct access to track suggestions and rediscovered favorites Large jog wheels and 8 performance pads for scratching, pad action and dynamic performances Beat FX-inspired mixer layout based on the CDJ-3000 and DJM-A9 Ergonomic design with matte surface and USB-C connectivity for modern setups Technical Data Compatible software rekordbox for Mac/Windows | rekordbox for iOS/Android | Serato DJ Pro Microphone input 1 x 6.3 mm stereo jack Master outputs 1 x 6.3 mm stereo jack | 1 x RCA Booth output 1 x RCA Headphone outputs 1 x 6.3 mm stereo jack | 1 x 3.5 mm mini stereo jack USB ports 2 x USB Type-C Power supply DC 9 V, 3.0 A via USB power adapter | DC 5 V, 1.5 A via USB bus power Frequency response 20 Hz - 20 kHz Signal-to-noise ratio 104 dB (USB) Total harmonic distortion (THD) 0.003 % (USB) Weight 4.6 kg Dimensions (W x D x H) 711.4 x 375.9 x 75.7 mm Scope of Delivery AlphaTheta DDJ-GRV6 DJ controller USB cable (C to C) Overlay sheet Quick start guide Safety instructions

Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX4

With the 2-channel controller DDJ-FLX4, you get a compact controller for getting started in the DJ world, presented in a surprisingly open way. The model works with rekordbox and Serato DJ, supports PC and Mac as well as rekordbox for iOS and Android, and fits a wide range of setups. It also includes smart features for easy transitions, a familiar club layout, and a design intended for use on the go. This gives you a device that you understand quickly, works cleanly, and meets you during learning just as much as it does at your first real gigs. Easy mixing, clean start It’s particularly strong exactly where many beginners otherwise lose time: with transitions. With Smart Fader, levels, bass, and BPM are automatically adjusted when you move the channel or crossfader. This doesn’t take control away from you, but helps transitions between tracks sound noticeably more coherent. You reach clearly well-rounded results faster, without having to dive into every fine detail of mixing technique right away.Smart CFX is also handled in a practical way. Instead of building several effects individually, you use a single knob to control combined effect contours. It’s not only convenient, but it also helps you use effects more controlled and more musical. Especially while learning, this creates a more direct sense of when an effect is useful and when less is more. Open to software and devices The Pioneer DJ controller makes your setup choice pleasantly easy. rekordbox and Serato are supported, meaning you’re not locked in early to a single software platform. For many users, this is a major advantage, because working style, music management, and control feel can differ depending on the software. You decide for yourself what you feel more comfortable with. That’s complemented by the broad device support. In addition to PC and Mac, you can also work with mobile devices, making the FLX4 especially flexible. If you want to prepare on the go, practise at home, or DJ spontaneously with a smartphone or tablet, you’ll find a solution here that fits well into everyday life and isn’t tied to a fixed workstation. Streaming directly in your workflow Another plus point is the connection to major streaming services. When used with compatible software, you can access platforms such as Beatport, TIDAL, Beatsource or SoundCloud Go+. This expands your music selection enormously and makes it easier to try out new ideas right away in your mix. This is a real advantage especially when practising, preparing sets, or during spontaneous sessions. What’s practical here isn’t just the amount of available music, but also the speed in your workflow. Instead of organising tracks locally first, you can test, compare, and react to your mood faster. For many DJs, this is a modern, straightforward way to stay flexible and keep developing their own style. Familiar layout, compactly implemented The control surface follows the well-known Pioneer DJ club layout and stays pleasantly tidy. 8 RGB pads per deck give you direct access to functions such as Hot Cues, samples, and other performance features. This helps you learn structures and working processes that are also relevant on larger equipment. This makes getting started not only easier, but also more future-proof.At the same time, the unit remains easy to transport. Its low weight, compact build, and USB power supply make the DDJ-FLX4 a controller you can quickly pack up and connect without complications. It’s a clear advantage for sessions at home, with friends, in the stream, or for smaller gigs. Mic signal without detours For announcements, moderation, or live streams, the integrated microphone input is especially practical. The microphone signal is mixed directly into the audio output, so in many cases you don’t need an additional mixer and often not even a separate audio interface. This saves space, reduces cabling effort, and keeps your setup pleasantly clear. This is particularly useful for content, streaming, or hybrid use. You can bring your set and your voice together in a streamlined setup and work with fewer external devices. This makes the controller interesting not only for classic DJing, but also for creators, hosts, and anyone who wants to combine audio and performance in a single device. Is the Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX4 right for you? This model is just right for you if you’re looking for a professionally sounding start without locking yourself into anything unnecessarily. It suits beginners who want to quickly reach musically clean transitions, as well as more advanced users who need a compact second controller for on the go. If you want to choose between rekordbox and Serato, work on the move, or integrate streaming services into your set, you’ll find a very coherent overall package here. For beginners looking for a clear, learning-friendly layout For mobile setups with a laptop, smartphone, or tablet For DJs who want to work with rekordbox or Serato For streams, announcements, and compact setups with a microphone Features Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX4 Compact 2-channel DJ controller with an open software concept for rekordbox and Serato DJ Beginner-friendly control layout with a clear club layout from the Pioneer DJ environment Smart Fader supports you with clean transitions through automatic adjustment of levels, bass, and BPM Smart CFX combines multiple effects on one knob for quick and creative control Compatible with PC and Mac as well as rekordbox for iOS and Android for especially flexible setups Streaming support for Beatport, TIDAL, Beatsource, and SoundCloud Go+ 8 RGB pads per deck for Hot Cues, samples, and other performance functions Integrated microphone input with direct mixing into the audio output, ideal for live streams and announcements USB power supply for effortless operation without a separate power adapter in the standard setup Class-compliant build without the need to install drivers Technical data Frequency range 20 Hz - 20 kHz S/N Ratio 103 dB Sample rate 44.1 kHz | 48 kHz AD/DA conversion 16 Bit | 24 Bit Power supply USB Supported software rekordbox for PC and Mac | rekordbox for iOS and Android | Serato DJ Lite | Serato DJ Pro Weight 2.1 kg Dimensions (W x D x H) 482 x 273 x 59 mm What’s in the box Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX4 DJ controller USB-C cable Quick start guide Serato flyer Warranty and safety information

Pioneer DJ DDJ-REV7

Scratch-oriented 2-channel controller for Serato DJ Pro with motorised 7-inch jogwheels, a clear mixer section, and direct access to performance features. The Pioneer DJ DDJ-REV7 combines the feel of a classic turntable setup with modern controller technology. The standout is the combination of precise jogwheel control, on-jog displays, instant scratch, and a robust build for regular use. Vinyl feel without a turntable The motorised jogwheels with a 207 mm diameter are the central element of this controller. They respond directly, run smoothly, and give you a familiar feel when scratching, backspinning, and cueing. The top acrylic plate has a vinyl-like surface, making the controls feel significantly closer to a real turntable platter than with traditional controller jogwheels. With the included slip sheets, you can adjust the torque to match your style. This lets you set each deck up for a lighter or firmer feel. This adjustment is especially important for scratch DJs, because even small differences in resistance noticeably affect timing and control. Information right under your fingertips In every jogwheel, there’s a 3.5-inch LCD display that shows you important details exactly where you’re working anyway. You can, for example, see waveforms, artwork, deck information, hot cues, and playback positions. This means you need to check the laptop less often and stay closer to your performance. The omnidirectional viewing angle ensures the displays remain easy to read even from a side position. In addition, you can deactivate the digital marker for the playback position and instead use the included stickers if you prefer an even more traditional turntable feel. Scratch instantly, even without a laptop sample With Instant Scratch, you get direct access to four built-in scratch samples. These sounds are stored in the unit and can be triggered via dedicated hardware buttons. This works even when the controller is not connected to Serato. For short cuts, transitions, or routine elements, this function is particularly useful. If you want to use your own sounds, you access samples assigned in Serato DJ Pro via the Scratch Bank feature. This lets you load prepared scratch sounds quickly without having to dig through long software menus. This makes your workflow more direct and helps you react faster during the set. Battle layout with clear structure The design is based on a classic setup with two turntables and a mixer. The deck areas and mixer section are separated clearly by different surfaces. The matte, fine-finished look on the aluminium top not only looks clean, but also supports quick orientation. The controls are positioned where scratch and open-format DJs expect them to be. Hot cue, roll, saved loop, and sampler can be selected via dedicated buttons, while eight performance pads per deck are available for quick actions. This keeps operation direct, even as your set becomes more technically demanding. Faders, effects, and mix control The Magvel Fader Pro is designed for precise movement and long service life. It feels smooth and reliable even with frequent use. For scratches, quick cuts, and clean transitions, a stable crossfader is crucial, because every small movement matters here.In addition, you have 22 Beat FX available, including Duck Down, Fill Out, and Helix Out. The effects can be controlled via dedicated knobs and are suited for transitions, builds, and creative interventions in ongoing tracks. You get plenty of options without making the operation unnecessarily complicated. Ready for Serato Stems Pioneer DJ regularly maintains its products. That means new features also arrive on devices that initially didn’t have them available. With the REV-7, you now also have access to the Serato Stems-Features, which can be controlled via the deck pads: Stems Mute: Here you can mute specific stems of a track in real time Stems Separat: Here you can move an isolated stem to a different deck. Ideal for remixes Stems Level: Use the EQ controls to adjust the volume of individual stems Who is the Pioneer DJ DDJ-REV7 for? This controller is just right for you if you’re looking for a direct scratch feel from digital hardware, but you don’t want to work with separate turntables and a mixer. It’s especially suitable for advanced DJs, turntablism fans, open-format DJs, and mobile DJs who need a compact, professional Serato setup with motorised jogwheels. For you if scratching and precise cueing are important For you if you work with Serato DJ Pro For you if you’re looking for a portable battle-style setup For you if you value jogwheel displays and direct performance control For pure beginners, the range of functions is rather extensive. If, however, you deliberately want to learn, practice, and work long-term with a professional controller, this model offers plenty of room for development. It’s particularly suitable if you place value on touch feel, reliable faders, quick sample control, and strong connectivity. Pioneer DJ XDJ-RX3

With this all-in-one DJ system, you work as flexibly as your setup requires. You play standalone straight from USB, use rekordbox, or integrate Serato DJ Pro without having to switch your workflow. The large 10.1-inch touch display, the familiar club logic from CDJ-3000 and DJM-900NXS2, and the expanded effects section make the device a well-thought-out solution for mixing, preparation, and performance. This gives you a system that’s quick to operate and works just as reliably in everyday use as it does for live shows. Club DNA, right in front of you The operating concept is clearly based on Pioneer’s professional top models. As a result, you feel at home immediately when mixing, especially when you switch between a home setup, a rehearsal room, and an event. The interface is set up logically, the most important functions are right within reach, and they ensure a smooth flow without unnecessary detours. In everyday DJ life, that’s a real advantage: you don’t have to spend long getting to grips with it—rather, you can search for tracks, set transitions, and use effects in a targeted way. This saves time during preparation and gives you more calm within your set. A display that thinks along with you The 10.1-inch WXGA touchscreen provides a lot more clarity on the surface. Waveforms, browser views, information, and effect control are clearly visible, so you can recognise your music faster and react more precisely. The system is particularly strong for quick browsing, because important content doesn’t disappear into submenus. With Touch Preview, you can listen to tracks in advance via the waveform without first having to load them onto a deck. There’s also the Playlist Bank, through which you keep several playlists within easy reach. This is handy when you play across genres or want to respond spontaneously to the mood and the audience. Effects with direct access With 14 Beat FX and 6 Sound Color FX, you have plenty of room to shape transitions cleanly or design mixes more creatively. Touchscreen control expands this area in a sensible way, as Beat FX and X-Pad Control can be operated especially directly. This creates a setup that not only offers many effects, but also makes them controllable. There’s also Release FX, known from the RMX series. With this, you smoothly step out of complex effect chains and bring the mix back in a controlled manner. This is particularly effective when you work intensively with build-ups, breaks, and tension-filled transitions. Precision on the decks The 135 mm jogwheels provide a reliable working surface and respond better. The coloured On-Jog displays keep playback position and track information in view without you constantly needing to switch to the main display. Together with the 2 x 8 multi-colour performance pads, this creates direct access to Hot Cues, samples, and slices. This makes the unit interesting not only for classic mixing, but also for more performance-oriented sets with quick interventions. If you want to cue cleanly, start precisely, and rearrange flexibly, you get an interface built exactly for that. Who is the Pioneer DJ XDJ-RX3 for?
