This high-quality backpack-style bag is perfect for carrying one or more electronic Roland instruments – including the TR-8S Rhythm Performer, the MC-707 Groovebox, the SP-404MKII and more – along with microphones, cables, headphones and other essentials.

A DJ set takes on a new direction when rhythm tracks come not only from the track itself but are created during the mix. The Roland DJ-505 combines the control of Serato DJ Pro with a TR section for programmable drums and samples. This allows you to integrate transitions, loops, and custom patterns directly into the flow. Four decks on two channels The controller operates with two channels and four controllable decks. Use the Deck Select button to switch between Serato decks, while the eight performance pads control Hot Cues, Roll, Slicer, TR, Pattern, and Sampler. Three FX Select buttons per deck provide access to channel filters and Serato effects. TR drums and 16-step sequencer The drum section contains sounds from the TR-909, TR-808, TR-707, and TR-606 series. Level, Attack, Decay, and Tune are available directly on the unit, so you can shape the kick, snare, hats, and other sounds to match your ongoing set. The classic 16-step TR-S pad interface makes patterns easy to follow. The sequencer processes TR drums and contents of the Serato Sampler and synchronises them to the tracks currently playing. In Inst-Rec mode, samples can be recorded in real-time. MIDI Out also allows you to connect external MIDI equipment to the TR-S sequencer and Serato DJ Pro in perfect sync. Jog wheels, audio interface, and inputs Both jog wheels feature brushed aluminium surfaces; their illuminated outer rings indicate the status of the respective deck. The integrated 24-bit/48-kHz audio interface handles audio playback via Master and Booth outputs. Separate 6.3 mm and 3.5 mm connections are available for monitoring. Two RCA input pairs accommodate line or phono sources. This allows you to use the mixer with players or turntables even without a computer. A 6.3 mm microphone input completes the setup for announcements, vocals, or an external instrument; a gate, high-pass filter, reverb, and echo are integrated for this purpose. Outputs for PA and Booth The balanced XLR Master output connects the DJ-505 directly to a PA system. Additionally, an unbalanced RCA Master output and balanced Booth outputs in 6.3 mm TRS format are provided. This facilitates separate sound distribution for the audience and the DJ booth without the need for additional audio hardware. In which setups is the Roland DJ-505 suitable?
