Product description RME Fireface UFX III

RME Fireface UFX III is a USB 3 audio interface for demanding recording, mixing and mastering setups with a high channel count. You get a central studio tool that brings together analog, digital and network-adjacent signal paths in a 19-inch unit. Four Mic/Inst/Line inputs on the front, numerous digital connections, direct multi-track recording to USB storage, and a powerful DSP make the system particularly interesting when you want to manage many sources cleanly and work without detours.

RME Fireface UFX III Connections

Many paths, clearly organised

The key strength lies in the exceptional range of connections. In addition to 12 analog I/Os, you have AES/EBU, ADAT, optical and coaxial MADI, Word Clock, as well as two MIDI I/Os at your disposal. This means the interface can be integrated not only into classic studio setups, but also used as a hub for extensive digital expansion.

Especially in larger production environments, the device shows its structure. You can integrate external converters, preamps and additional MADI devices, distribute signals flexibly and let your setup grow cleanly—without being stuck at a single interface.

RME Fireface UFX III - durec Option

Record directly, without detours

With DURec, the interface stores selected input and output signal(s) directly onto an attached USB storage medium. This is useful when you want to secure sessions independently of the computer, create live recordings, or plan an additional recording track for critical productions.

There’s also Class-Compliant mode over USB 3.0. This allows you to integrate the device into suitable environments even without traditional driver operation and use the full I/O structure. For mobile or changing workstations, this is a noticeable advantage.

RME Fireface UFX III - TotalMix FX

Control, not detours

With TotalMix FX, you get far more than just an internal mixer. Routing, latency-free monitoring, separate monitor mixes, EQ, Dynamics, Reverb and Delay are all ready in the system itself. This saves on external hardware, speeds up your workflow and keeps even complex sessions clear.

It’s complemented by DIGICheck for precise analysis of digital signals. If you want to check levels, signal flow and technical quality—not just hear them—you get a toolset here that’s genuinely useful in everyday work.

RME Fireface UFX III - Recording Lifestyle

More than just audio

The DC-coupled outputs expand the range of applications significantly. With these, you can not only output audio signals, but also send CV or gate information to modular synthesizers and other compatible hardware. That’s what makes the rack unit interesting for hybrid setups between the DAW, outboard and modular sound generation.

  • Four XLR/TRS combo inputs for Mic, instrument and line
  • Two headphone outputs with high output power
  • MADI optical and coaxial for high channel counts
  • Standalone operation and front panel control
RME Fireface UFX III - Lifestyle Side Image

Does the RME Fireface UFX III fit your setup?

This model is right for you if you’re looking for more than a compact desktop interface. It’s particularly well suited to professional studios, demanding project studios, broadcast environments and setups with many external converters, preamps or digital sources. Even if you work with extensive monitor paths, need multiple headphone mixes or want to integrate MADI into your production chain, this RME interface is a suitable solution.

  • For advanced users and professionals with a growing studio
  • For recording, mixing and mastering with many simultaneous signals
  • For hybrid workflows with outboard, digital routing and modular systems
  • For anyone who relies on stable drivers, direct recording and precise monitoring

Audient Nero

With Audient Nero you have a flexible control center for your studio monitors and headphones that makes your workflow in the studio significantly more efficient. The desktop device combines thoughtful routing with easy operation and gives you precise control over your monitoring environment – whether mixing, mastering, or recording. You can feed up to four stereo sources simultaneously – including two line-level inputs, a cue input for separate headphone mixes, and an aux input for mobile devices via RCA or mini-jack. Additionally, digital signals can be integrated via optical and coaxial S/PDIF inputs. This way, you control the entire audio hub of your studio with one device. Three speaker pairs can be connected independently and switched by button press. The integrated speaker calibration allows you to match all monitors to the same volume level. A separate subwoofer output with freely assignable activation completes the monitoring control. A dedicated headphone amplifier for the control room and three additional outputs for foldback mixes provide clear sound reproduction for everyone involved. The Smart Touchpoints make it easy for you to save your individual setup with just a few steps and recall it directly when needed. You can configure not only routing but also functions like Mono, Dim, or Cut individually. The integrated talkback function with internal microphone or external input significantly eases communication with the recording room. Especially noteworthy is the Precision Matched Attenuation Technology, with which Audient ensures an exactly symmetrical volume control between the left and right channel – the result is a stable stereo image that makes critical listening much more reliable. Genelec 8040 BPM front view
Genelec 8040 BPM

Genelec 8040 BPM is an active 2-way studio monitor for precise monitoring in music production, post-production and broadcast. The model combines a resonance-optimized aluminium enclosure, controlled directivity and powerful Bi-Amping power amplifiers into a loudspeaker that makes mixing decisions easy to understand. You hear details clearly, keep the bass range better in view and work through longer sessions with a balanced, fatigue-resistant sound image. Control instead of colouring The monitor is designed for clear, objective playback. The 165 mm woofer and the 19 mm metal-dome tweeter work in an active system with separate amplification. This ensures that transients are reproduced cleanly, voices are clearly rendered and mixes can be assessed more accurately. Especially when arranging, editing and mixing, you benefit from a precise image layering in the stereo soundstage. The Directivity-Control Waveguide technology supports consistent dispersion and expands the usable listening area. This is particularly helpful when you don’t always sit exactly in the sweet spot or need to work flexibly in smaller control rooms. Deeper bass, neatly controlled The bass-reflex design goes down to 41 Hz and delivers controlled low-frequency reproduction without artificially inflating the character. This allows you to judge kick, basslines and deeper synth components more reliably. At the same time, the loudspeaker keeps the midrange tidy, which is noticeable for voice work, acoustic instruments and dense arrangements. With linear reproduction from 48 Hz to 20 kHz within a range of ±2 dB, the sound image stays consistent and dependable. For you, that means: less guesswork when listening back on other systems, and more confidence when your mix needs to work elsewhere. Adaptable to your room Not every workstation is acoustically perfect. That’s exactly why the Genelec speaker offers switchable filters for adjusting to placement and room acoustics. This makes it possible to adapt playback sensibly to a desk setup, near-wall placement or other practical constraints. This is a real advantage when you work in project studios, on editing workstations or in compact production environments and need a cleanly balanced result. The symmetrical XLR input ensures low-noise signal handling, while protective circuits safeguard operation in everyday use. In addition, there’s an automatic on/off function that activates the monitor when a signal is present and switches it to the power-saving standby mode when idle. Robustly built, versatile in use The aluminium die-cast enclosure is stable, low in resonance and built for daily use in professional environments. Rounded edges reduce disruptive diffraction effects, while the protected drivers and the IsoPod concept make practical placement easier. Even during longer working sessions, the loudspeaker remains a dependable tool that doesn’t push itself into the foreground, but places your source at the centre. Thanks to the headroom and controlled playback, the model is suitable not only for a classic nearfield setup, but also for systems where you need a bit more drive and reach. This makes it a good fit for studios, editing workstations and production rooms where precision matters more than gimmicks. Does the Genelec 8040 BPM suit your workflow? This model is a strong choice if you want to make reliable decisions when monitoring and are looking for a monitor that works analytically without sounding harsh or fatiguing. boss sd 1 top view
Boss SD-1

Right from the first switch-on, the Boss SD-1 reveals its unique character. The asymmetric clipping circuit provides a warm, dynamic overdrive that feels like a naturally overdriven tube amp – even at moderate volume. This makes the pedal especially versatile and allows you to finely control your tone through your picking dynamics or the volume control on your guitar. Compared to conventional overdrive pedals, the SD-1 focuses on clearly defined mids, a controlled bass range, and assertive highs. This ensures your sound always sits precisely in the band mix – whether for rhythmic chugging or singing leads. Especially in combination with clean or slightly overdriven amps, the pedal delivers powerful, musical distortions that work well in genres like blues, classic rock, or country. If you play a high-gain amplifier, you can also use the SD-1 as an effective booster. The tone stays transparent while your signal gains more focus and definition. For solos or demanding riffs, this means added clarity and control without altering the character of your setup. The SD-1 also works great ahead of other distortion pedals – it highlights details and adds more depth to your sound. Despite its long history, the SD-1 feels more current than ever today. It impresses with an intuitive layout, consisting of three clearly structured controls for Drive, Tone, and Level. Once set, it reliably delivers an inspiring sound – whether in your home studio or on a big stage. The robust construction and reliable electronics underline the SD-1’s reputation as a real workhorse among overdrives. Features Boss SD-1 Compact overdrive pedal with classic tube sound and dynamic playing feel Unique asymmetric clipping circuit for harmonically sounding distortion Versatile use from gentle crunch to singing lead sound Compatible with clean and crunch amps as well as high-gain setups Ideal also as a booster in front of other distortion pedals or amplifiers Three controls for Drive, Tone, and Level for easy sound shaping Very responsive to playing style and guitar volume Robust housing with proven BOSS quality Operates with 9V battery or optional power supply Five years manufacturer’s warranty Technical Data Nominal input level: -20 dBu Input impedance: 1 MΩ Nominal output level: -20 dBu Output impedance: 1 kΩ Recommended load impedance: 10 kΩ or higher Bypass circuit: buffered bypass Controls: knobs for Drive | Tone | Level | footswitch Indicator: check LED (also shows battery status) Connections: input jack 6.3 mm phone | output jack 6.3 mm phone | power supply socket (DC IN) Power supply: 9V zinc-carbon battery (6F22) | 9V alkaline battery (6LR61) | PSA series power supply (sold separately) Current consumption: 10 mA Battery life in continuous operation: zinc-carbon approx. 60 hours | alkaline approx. 90 hours Weight: 0.41 kg Dimensions (W x D x H): 73 x 129 x 59 mm Scope of Delivery Boss SD-1 overdrive pedal Carbon-zinc battery (9 V, 6F22) Operating manual and safety instructions

If you work with software, you don’t want complicated setup—you want direct control. That’s exactly what this keyboard is designed for.Even the connections stay practical. USB-C handles MIDI communication and bus-powered power delivery. There’s also a MIDI output and a pedal input that you can flexibly use for control, sustain, modulation, or expression tasks. This makes it easy to integrate the controller into compact setups as well as slightly more elaborate workstations. Software you can start using right away The delivery package includes not only hardware, but also a sensibly assembled software base. Analog Lab V with over 2000 presets provides a wide range of sounds straight away, while additional titles such as Ableton Live Lite, UVI Model D, and The Gentleman make it easier to get started or expand your setup. Plus, Loopcloud and Melodics content rounds out your creative and hands-on approach to the instrument in a meaningful way. This means the Arturia controller isn’t just an input device, but a complete starting point for production, arrangement, and performance. You get a tool that’s quick to grasp, structured to operate, and leaves enough room for growing requirements. Who is the KeyLab Essential 61 MK3 for? RME Babyface Pro FS side angle view
RME Babyface Pro FS

RME Babyface Pro FS is a compact USB audio interface for demanding recording, mixing and production tasks. The unit combines a robust aluminium housing with thoughtfully designed connectivity options, very low latency and a signal quality that also impresses in professional setups. Four analogue inputs and outputs, ADAT, MIDI, two separate headphone outputs and the flexible TotalMix FX mixer make this interface a versatile switching hub for studio, desktop and mobile work. Clean signals, clear focus The two digitally controlled microphone preamps give you a wide gain range of up to 76 dB and work with phantom power that can be switched on individually. There’s also a PAD implemented via relay, which provides more headroom at higher levels. Especially for speech, vocals or acoustic instruments, you benefit from very precise recording with high signal-to-noise ratio and clean handling even with quiet sources. The XLR inputs are complemented by two line and/or instrument inputs on 6.3 mm jacks. This allows you to connect synthesizers, drum machines, guitars or basses directly, without having to plan an additional DI solution. This makes the interface particularly practical when you switch between recording, sound design and production. Rock-solid timing down to the detail With SteadyClock FS, RME relies on a highly precise clock technology with strong jitter suppression. This is particularly relevant when you work with digital playback devices, ADAT expansions or changing clock sources. The result is a stable, reliable setup that delivers a consistent sound image for both recording and playback. There’s also support for sample rates up to 192 kHz as well as very direct conversion with low delay. Especially for monitoring situations, software instruments or overdub recordings, this is a real advantage because the system feels fast and controlled. Outputs that think along with you The two headphone outputs that can be used in parallel are not only practical, but also designed for different applications. Separate amplifier stages are available for headphones with high and low impedance. The 3.5 mm output in particular has been reworked and delivers more power with very low output impedance. This ensures that monitoring remains reliable on the go or when directly comparing different headphones. For connecting active monitors, a switchable +19 / +4 dBu mode is also provided. This allows you to better match the output level to sensitive loudspeakers. This reduces overloads, improves working with the fader and provides a more controlled level in everyday use. Flexible in the studio and ready for mobile use The interface works bus-powered via USB and, in many setups, does not require an external power supply. This means the RME solution is well suited for mobile recordings, small production workstations or a tidy desktop setup. Despite its compact design, optical ADAT and SPDIF, MIDI via breakout cables and extensive routing options are available. TotalMix FX rounds everything off with latency-free mixing, routing, EQ as well as reverb and echo effects directly in your workflow. Ideal for recording, editing, mixing and mobile producing ADAT expands the setup with additional channels MIDI I/O connects external controllers and sound generators Class Compliant Mode makes flexible usage scenarios easier Does the RME Babyface Pro FS fit your setup? This model is the right choice for you if you’re looking for a compact, very robust interface with a professional connectivity structure. It suits singer-songwriters, producers, content creators, mobile recording setups and also users who want to expand their desktop studio with ADAT, MIDI and flexible headphone paths. Thanks to the combination of high-quality preamps, a direct instrument input and extensive routing, it’s a sensible solution for both advanced home studios and professional working environments. Well suited for vocals, speech, instruments and electronic setups Suitable for mobile recordings with laptop and USB power Ideal for users working with multiple monitor and headphone routes A strong choice if driver stability and low latency matter to you Features RME Babyface Pro FS Compact 24-channel USB audio interface with up to 192 kHz for recording, mixing and mobile work Two digitally controlled XLR mic/line preamps with up to 76 dB gain, PAD and individually switchable phantom power Two additional line/instrument inputs for synthesizers, drum machines, guitar or bass Two separately tuned headphone outputs on 6.3 mm and 3.5 mm with independent amplifier stages SteadyClock FS for high jitter immunity and stable digital synchronisation TotalMix FX with flexible routing, submixes, EQ as well as reverb and echo effects Optical ADAT I/O with SMUX and SPDIF support up to 192 kHz MIDI input and output via breakout cables with 2 x 5-pin DIN sockets Bus-power operation via USB or optional external power supply for flexible power Milled aluminium housing with compact format and K-slot for theft protection Technical specifications Type USB Audio Interface Channels 24 Maximum sample frequency 192 kHz Analogue inputs 2 x XLR Mic/Line | 2 x 6.3 mm jack Line/Instrument Analogue outputs 2 x XLR Line Out | 1 x 6.3 mm stereo headphone | 1 x 3.5 mm stereo headphone Digital inputs and outputs 1 x ADAT optical I/O | 1 x SPDIF optical I/O MIDI 1 x MIDI I/O via breakout cable with 2 x 5-pin DIN sockets Gain range Mic preamps -11 dB to +65 dB Microphone input impedance balanced 2 kOhm | 5.2 kOhm with PAD Instrument input impedance 1 MOhm Signal-to-noise ratio Mic/Line 1-2 113.7 dB RMS unweighted | 117 dBA Signal-to-noise ratio Line/Instrument 3-4 116 dB RMS unweighted | 120 dBA Signal-to-noise ratio Line Out 1-2 115 dB unweighted | 118 dBA Signal-to-noise ratio Phones 6.3 mm 114.8 dB RMS unweighted | 118 dBA Signal-to-noise ratio Phones 3.5 mm 114 dB RMS unweighted | 117 dBA Maximum output power headphone 6.3 mm 60 mW Maximum output power headphone 3.5 mm 90 mW Headphone output impedance 6.3 mm 10 Ohm Headphone output impedance 3.5 mm 0.1 Ohm Clock modes Internal | ADAT In | SPDIF In Supported sample frequencies digital 28 kHz to 200 kHz Power supply USB bus power or external power supply Typical power consumption 3.7 Watt Maximum power consumption 5.4 Watt Weight 0.68 kg Dimensions (W x D x H) 108 x 181 x 35 mm

Wolfmix W1 MK3

Standalone lighting control is thought here directly, quickly and without a laptop. The controller is built for DMX setups, in which you want to shape shows on the spur of the moment, change effects live and organise multiple devices neatly. With a touchscreen, illuminated pads, music synchronisation and up to 4 DMX universes, you get a compact system that’s just as suitable for mobile use as for clubs, bars, stages and fixed installations. Direct access instead of menu hunting The user interface is clearly designed for performance. The 4.3" capacitive colour touchscreen display shows important functions in a straightforward way and supports you when working with the colour picker, pan/tilt grid and on-screen keyboard. This is how you set up fixtures, name presets or adapt movements without having to struggle through nested software windows.37 colour backlit silicone pads give you quick access to effects, groups, flash functions and presets. In addition, there are 4 push encoders with acceleration, allowing you to dial in values precisely or make larger changes quickly with a turn. It feels less like programming and more like active show control. Effects you shape right now Color FX, Move FX and Beam FX give you a broad toolkit for vivid light images. Colours, movements and brightness gradients can be combined directly on the device. Particularly useful is the integrated sequencer, with which you create your own patterns for beam and move effects. For colours, you can use, among others, Rainbow, Sparkle and chaser variants. You control moving heads and scanners with movements such as pan, tilt, circle or magic carpet. Dimmer, zoom or iris can be integrated via beam FX into chases, waves and rhythmic pulses. This creates shows that don’t feel rigid, but react live to the room, music and mood. Four universes, neatly distributed The controller supports up to 4 DMX universes with 2048 channels, with universes 3 and 4 needing to be activated as an add-on. This makes it possible to manage a small bar setup just as easily as a larger installation with multiple groups, moving lights, LED bars or effect devices. The DMX outputs can be used flexibly, as universes can be assigned to the XLR sockets. The unit can therefore also work as a DMX splitter. With up to 680 fixtures and beams, 8 fixture groups, 200 presets that can be stored and more than 20,000 available fixture profiles, you have enough scope for changing rigs and different event locations. Music in time, without detours For music-related shows, the hardware offers multiple sync options. The built-in electret microphone with auto-gain detects audio signals directly in the room. Alternatively, you use the 3.5 mm line-in if you want to feed in a cleaner signal from the mixer.Via USB, you can integrate Ableton Link, OS2L and MIDI Clock. This lets you synchronise effects to the BPM source of your DJ or show software. Even MIDI controllers can trigger presets or control group dimmers. This is particularly helpful when lighting, music and other show elements are intended to work more closely together. Robust hardware for everyday use The housing combines ABS plastic with a powder-coated steel base plate including a 100 mm VESA mount. The silicone pads have a matte surface and are colour backlit. Inside, a 220 MHz ARM CPU with 8 MB RAM and 16 MB Flash works, designed for fast response and direct DMX output.Projects and fixture data can be backed up and restored via USB. The controller automatically saves active projects and starts in under 2 seconds. DMX is output in under 1 second. For touring, rental, mobile DJs and fixed installations, this is an important point because setup and restart don’t take up unnecessary time. Who is the Wolfmix W1 MK3 for? The Wolfmix W1 MK3 is right for you if you want to actively play light shows, but don’t need a computer next to the desk. It’s strong for mobile DJs, lighting technicians, clubs, bars, event service providers and live setups where quick operation, fixed presets and spontaneous interventions are important. Good for beginners looking for a clear standalone solution Strong for experienced users who want to control DMX groups, presets and FX live Useful for setups with moving heads, LED bars, PARs, scanners and effect lighting A good fit if you work with MIDI, Ableton Link, OS2L or line-in synchronisation Features Wolfmix W1 MK3 Standalone DMX lighting controller for live shows, clubs, mobile DJs and event technology without a computer Up to 4 DMX universes with 2048 channels, universes 3 and 4 can be activated via add-on More than 20,000 available fixture profiles, including more than 3,500 directly on the controller 4.3" capacitive colour touchscreen with colour picker, pan/tilt grid and on-screen keyboard 37 colour backlit silicone pads for direct access to groups, presets and performance functions 4 push encoders with acceleration for precise parameter control and quick value changes Color FX, Move FX and Beam FX with 8 effect types each and two simultaneously generated effects per module 200 named presets, 80 live edit buttons, as well as colour, position and gobo palettes Music synchronisation via microphone, line-in, Ableton Link, OS2L, BPM Tap and MIDI Clock DMX-IN mapping, WLINK synchronisation and Easy View 3D Visualizer available as optional extensions Integrated fixture builder, DMX channel tester, fixture limits, beam editor and real-time sequencer Project and fixture backup via USB flash drive, as well as automatic restoration of the active project Technical data DMX universes Up to 4 universes | 2048 channels | universes 3 and 4 via add-on Fixture capacity Up to 680 fixtures and beams Fixture types Up to 50 Fixture features Up to 5000 Fixture groups 8 Projects Up to 100 or 3.5 MB of data Fixture profiles 20000+ available | 3500+ on the controller Presets 200 named presets with hold and fade times Live edits 80 named live edit buttons Display 4.3" Color TFT | tinted glass | capacitive touch surface Controls 37 silicone pads with LED colour backlighting | 4 push encoders with acceleration CPU 220 MHz ARM core Memory 8 MB RAM | 16 MB Flash Audio Omnidirectional electret microphone | 3.5 mm line-in | analogue adaptive peak detector DMX connections 2 x 3-pin DMX OUT XLR | 1 x 5-pin DMX OUT XLR | 1 x 5-pin DMX IN/OUT XLR with WLINK USB connections USB-C 5 V 900 mA required | USB-A with MIDI, MSD and WLINK | high-speed USB communication Synchronisation Microphone | line-in | Ableton Link | OS2L | BPM Tap | MIDI Clock Housing ABS plastic | powder-coated steel base plate Mounting 100 mm VESA | M4 6 mm max Start time Under 2 seconds DMX output after start Under 1 second Weight 1.07 kg Dimensions (W x D x H) 195 x 220 x 62 mm Package contents Wolfmix W1 MK3 DMX controller USB cable
