Reloop Spin! 2 Digitrack Bundle

Timecode vinyl and a digital music library come together in this digital vinyl system with Digitrack cartridges. The Reloop Digital System Spin! 2 Digitrack Bundle includes the Spin! 2 software and matching USB interface for controlling digital tracks via timecode media. The two green Ortofon Concorde Digitrack cartridges are optimised for use with timecode vinyl.

The interface works as a 4x4 USB sound card and has switchable phono/line inputs for turntables or line sources. A phono preamp and grounding screws are provided for connecting a turntable. The Thru outputs let you route the standard vinyl signal through to the mixer; signal LEDs indicate the inputs and outputs. The interface also includes a USB 2.0 connection and ASIO drivers.

In the software, you can choose between the Classic Spin, Advanced Spin and Jog Spin playback modes. Master Tempo, a BPM counter, a beat offset display and a Beat Match view help you control tempo and transitions. For harmonic mixing, pitch adjustment is available in Key mode; three master effects are provided: Flanger, Delay and Filter. The software supports WAV, MP3, WMA, OGG Vorbis and audio CDs.

For scratching and track control, Spin! 2 offers a vinyl sound engine as well as scratch and needle drop functions. You can set six cue, scratch and juggle markers per track. Beat loops can play seamlessly, while manual loops can be controlled with the Reloop function. At the touch of a button, Spin! Juggle loads the track from the opposite deck and synchronises it for beat juggling.

The display includes three waveform views – Complete View, Zoom View and Beat Match View – as well as a vinyl label monitor. Album artwork can be displayed and enlarged; the library and Spin! List Organizer are used to manage tracks. Free MIDI Learning lets you integrate external MIDI controllers. The bundle is suitable for DJs who want to combine timecode control with turntables or CD players and digital music playback.
