Reloop RP-4000 M3D LTD

For beatmatching, finely adjustable speed correction is just as important as a fast start-up of the platter. The Reloop RP-4000 M3D LTD is a fully manual DJ turntable with a quartz-controlled high-torque direct drive, three speeds and pitch control. Forward and reverse playback expand the control options at the deck.

You can adjust the playback speed continuously using the pitch fader; set the control range to ±10 or ±20 per cent. Quartz lock switches off pitch correction and restores the quartz-stabilised speed. For direct comparison, 33⅓, 45 and 78 rpm are available. An electronic motor brake helps bring the platter to a controlled stop.

The extra-heavy metal chassis is made of solid steel and designed to reduce vibration during placement. Shock-absorbing feet complement the construction. The housing is white and has a brushed aluminium finish.

The statically balanced S-shaped tonearm features a tonearm lift, counterweight and anti-skating. The supplied Ortofon OM GT cartridge is fitted to the headshell; the cartridge can be replaced if required. A retractable stylus light makes it easier to see the record groove, and a separate light for the platter can also be switched on. Tonearm with adjustable counterweight allows you to set the tracking force to the cartridge manufacturer's recommendation.

For connection to a mixer, the turntable has an RCA audio output and a separate GND earth cable. There is also a connection each for a beat counter and a remote control. RCA output with earth cable makes it easier to integrate the turntable into a DJ setup with a mixer; the starting torque is 1600 g/cm.

With three speeds, a reverse function and variable pitch, this model is suitable for DJ applications with records. The supplied headshell, Ortofon cartridge and neoprene slipmat are already included. For a manual vinyl setup with a mixer, the tonearm adjustment, quartz lock and connections for external control devices are particularly relevant.
