Product description Reloop RMP-1 - Black
A 20 cm jog dial and a long pitch fader define the control surface of the MP3-compatible single CD player Reloop RMP-1. This compact tabletop device is designed for DJ setups with individual CD players. A multicolour dot-matrix VFD display shows functions and playback information.
For beatmatching tracks, an automatic and manual BPM counter and a pitch fader with ranges of ±4, ±8, ±16 and ±100% are available. The pitch fader can be switched off; Master Tempo keeps the pitch constant. Pitch Bend lets you temporarily adjust the tempo by up to ±100%.
The player has four cue point banks and four sample banks for markers and transitions. Each sample bank stores up to five seconds and can be pitch-adjusted. You can set and end seamless loops, then restart them using the Re-Loop function. Frame Search lets you search precisely within a track; Instant Playback from a cue point starts playback directly from the saved position.
Track and Folder Search, along with support for ID3 tags and CD Text, help you select tracks. Auto-Cue sets playback to start at the beginning of a track. The display shows the Playing Address and elapsed or remaining time; a 10-second anti-shock memory is also provided for playing CDs. A sleep function complements the playback features.
The digital output connects the player to compatible digital signal paths. For cue monitoring, there is a headphone output with volume control. Relay Play enables alternating playback with a second compatible player; Fader Start Play controls playback start via a suitably equipped mixer. The RMP-1 is therefore suited to DJ setups involving CDs and MP3 CDs, manual beatmatching, cue points and short samples.
