Product description Rane Terminal 1010x

For permanently installed sound systems, microphones, line sources and playback paths need to be brought together centrally. The Rane Terminal 1010x is an audio DSP with 10 analogue inputs and 10 outputs; its front panel is used for control and monitoring. The balanced inputs and outputs can be used with different signal sources and sound system paths.

Depending on the setting, the ten inputs work with condenser microphones with 48 V phantom power, dynamic microphones or line signals. In Line+ mode, an input sums two unbalanced signals to mono. The ten balanced line outputs connect to downstream amplifiers or other audio equipment.

Six RAD-Plus PoE ports are available for remote connections and control points. They support RAD and DR modules; each port can therefore provide two additional audio inputs and two audio outputs. The connected devices do not require their own power supply from a separate power supply unit. An optional Dante card adds 32 inputs and 32 outputs for integration into a Dante audio network.

Four universal GPIO logic connections allow external controls such as sensors, alarm systems, lights or projectors to be integrated. According to the listing, the Expansion port allows up to 32 additional Terminal 1010x units to be connected in series; this provides for expansion to up to 512 inputs and 512 outputs. An online wizard helps you get started with configuration using the Halogen software.
