Product description Rane Serato Pressing Dan Tippett Control Vinyl picture Disk

The picture-disc double set designed by Dan Tippett combines a distinctive record design with a control signal for Serato Scratch Live. The New Zealand artist incorporated motifs from his homeland of Aotearoa into the design; the front and back show different images.

The newly mastered Serato NoiseMap Control Signal is on both sides of each record. It is 6 dB louder than on previous control vinyl records and is used to control Scratch Live via a compatible DVS setup. The continuous signal supports precise scratching and mixing; a positioning system helps you place the needle precisely. Minute markings also make it easier to find your way around the record.

The Vinyl-Select function is designed for selecting and controlling MP3 files from the library. As a limited edition, the set is part of the Serato Pressing Artist series, which has released other designs. The double set contains two 12-inch picture discs, each weighing 125 g, and is suited to DJs who want to use Scratch Live with classic turntable handling and an artistically designed pressing.
