Already an XDJ user, coming over from an XDJ-R1. Plug-in a pair of powered speakers and with the XDJ a DJ can get setup in five minutes. All the interfaces, controls are familiar, it's just like a CDJ & DJM just more compact. It even does a lot of same things. And, at only 9.1Kg very easy to cart around.

It can be used as a stand-alone system, playing WAVs directly from a memory stick or in conjuction with a computer, phone or tablet.

Programme and store, cues, loops and jumps, anaylise tracks, on the fly or with Rekordbox, everything recalled in a instant. Two USBs mean easy DJ swaps and now with the RX2 you can even record your set.

When you consider the price of an individual CDJ the XDJ-RX2 is very good value for money.

Super all-in-one device!

The device is a great all-in-one solution. Based on Pioneer's Nexus technology, it is great to get a solution at a third of the price of 2 CDJs and a mixer as a complete solution. I still have my turntable connected to the controller, so I don't have to do without anything and have a great, high-quality solution at a great price.

XDJ RX2

Decided to get a Pioneer XDJ-RX2 + decksaver after having bought a DDJ-400 from this same store, to level my setup up. I bought the controller on 31.12 and it arrived earlier on the next week. Impressive as always.
The equipment is being used by many DJs while online streaming and it's fairly similar to the traditional setups one can find in clubs, so that was for me an obvious choice. I gotta say that the controller does not disappoint and it's a valuable upgrade from my previous setup.

Really solid DJ set up. Feels well manufactured and does everything I want it to. Unless you really need every feature of 2x CDJs and a mixer, I would recommend the XDJ RX2. I like that the jog wheels are larger than on eg. the XDJ RR.

The second mail order has been processed and has been handed over to the dispatch department. Third mail the order status has changed. You will be notified. Super price for the controller with comparable sound performance to the rr but significantly better mapping and features of the nexus 2 series (more effects). You save the laptop when you hang up, but a PC or laptop is of course necessary to analyze the songs with recordbox.

The shipping was incredibly fast. Ordered around 9 a.m. on Thursday and the device was there within 24 hours. You can read all the specifications for the device itself. It is incredibly extensive what it can do. I don't deduct the 1 star from the device, but rather from the software. Personally, I found Serato better than a record box in terms of handling.

Great device for beginners as well as for advanced users

Relatively easy handling, even if some keys have double assignments. After about 1 week everything works (operation of the RX2 and working with Recordbox) very smoothly. But since it has such extensive functions, it will definitely take me another 3-4 weeks to discover everything: D Proud price, but the standalone player is just awesome and you no longer need a laptop. I thought about it for a long time, but it was worth it! PS: Support from Recordcase is also 1A! ;-)

Perfect system for solo entertainers

Pro: + sound + processing + "feeling" + very well thought-out system Cons: - Price - rekordbox software not as good as Serato - not as many features as other devices in the price range (e.g. Denon DJ Prime 4) Briefly about my previous experience: Before this device I used a Hercules DJ Control Air and then a Pioneer DDJ-SX2. With the SX2, I was used to the Serato workflow and almost always used the controller. Now I have opted for the Pioneer DJ XDJ-RX2 because the "laptop eyes" (the constant look at the laptop) and the dependence on a working (Windows) laptop have always bothered me. First, about the device itself: As usual from Pioneer DJ, perfect workmanship, perfect sound, the right connections for a 2-deck setup. In principle, a perfect device in itself, if there weren't a few limitations compared to the DDJ-SX2: fewer effects, fewer features and poor communication and worse interaction with rekordbox dj (the performance software, parallel to Serato). The workflow when hanging up was a bit unusual for me, for example, since the tracks start automatically by default, or no cue point is set at the beginning of the track. It's a good thing that you can set everything on the device. The fact that you first have to go back to the browse menu was a bit difficult for me at the beginning. But I quickly got used to it. The biggest drawback to this device is not the device itself, but the software rekordbox. It has significant problems with beat detection and is often shifted by half a beat, but with a bit of work you can get it right back. The reason for my switch, the detachment from the laptop, is perfectly fulfilled here. I just have to prepare a USB stick with music (with rekordbox) and then I no longer need a computer. Using non-analyzed music on a USB stick or SD card (with adapter) also works without any problems. Only then the beat grid is missing, but the beat effects usually recognize the right BPM. What I also like is that you can simply insert the USB stick into the RX2 or a CDJ and both work directly. All in all, one can say that this device is very good, if a little expensive. The only big negative aspect is the unfortunately not perfect software, but it can still change. If you are looking for an all-in-one, you have my purchase recommendation.

I bought the xdj rx2 controller from Recordcase.de. Firstly, the price is just fair and in a bundle with the Decksaver I can say that it was also unbeatably cheap! In advance, the advice in the chat was also great and all questions were answered. Great service ... that's what you want. Thanks for that! For me, the RX2 is the optimal solution ... And those who have dealt with it also know what the device can do ... Packed in a case, it can be easily taken to various events. Works completely self-sufficient .... Either a computer or USB stick and off you go. And the recording function via the 2nd USB slot is simply MEGA. So a new mix / podcast is created ... This is called wav. File saved. Mp3 can be converted in the computer and done ... Quality of the recording is TOP! Denon was out of the question for me, because I travel a lot in clubs and only play there with CDJ and Pioneer is simply the standard in every club. Especially since Denon does not support a record box! The 2000 are just too expensive for me at home ... So the controller is the perfect current solution for me ;-)

Just wow. I had the Pioneer DDJ-RB which was also really great. However, I wanted to enlarge, so the XDJ-RX had to come. He's really incredibly good. Features incredible, sound clear without noise etc., processing can't be improved. The only drawback, however, is that the lighting is not quite perfect in my opinion. If you hang up in the dark or in the club for example, you won't see the complete effect section any more. However, if you've hung up a few times, then you know by heart where it is. you have to feel your way around.

All controls are easily accessible and easy to understand. Playing music from USB sticks works smoothly, I think the only thing that could be better is the materials from which it is made. It's a light plastic feel. For someone who uses it mobile, the device is suitable because it is not as heavy as it looks

If you want to be independent of laptops and Co., you have to use the XDJ series. In my opinion, the RX2 is the best compromise of everything. Simple operation, standalone, good layout from the "big", touchscreen, plays everything, no PC required and runs absolutely stable. Since the device is in my possession, I haven't had a crash or anything like that. Operation you have to get into it a bit. The main functions are self-explanatory and typical of Pioneers. The display is also nice and big, but it makes work a lot easier. It is very easy to read, especially in poor light.
